Best enchant for PVE

Recently bought a separate set of armor for PVE, prior to this I wore El Burning Executioner to ALL affairs. So I have been toying with enchants and was looking to find out what other folks are sporting.

    Almost all of them want soulforged though. Could make an argument for tanks I guess. Soulforged is also great because you only really need a lesser which is dirt cheap relative to your other options.

    I was just sticking with the Negation I had used for PVP. When I switched to soulforged I got quite a bit flimsier--until I started paying more attention to the REDS. Soulforged is mostly about the boss fights, so you don't have to watch from the sidelines on the first down. I definitely prefer that!

    Wish I'd just bought the lesser, though. My transmutes are awash in black ink.

    Overall - lesser Soulforged.

    - best bang per buck (hey, it's easily made, too!)
    - helps across the Bubble breaks :^/
    - keeps you from using HorseSimulator(TM) or the Dungeon Architecture 101 class excursion often enough
    - Negation: ouch per bite is eeevil in PvE - so you'll rarely stack up enough

    Exceptions: You're playing a GF or Pally - then it's Negation as high as possible. But SF will do there, too...

    Frost: meh. Didn't that have an awfully horrible cooldown?

    OP does not want soulforge. They want negation. Yes, tank does not want it as you suggested.

    I had always heard that Soulforged was the way to go, but lately I've seen more and more negation--and others. Seems the tried and true is still true. Up until recently I had mostly done solo content and PVP, and negation was more than fine for either.

    Got a Soulforged for my TR, a second chance is nice to have. My GWF wears Negation, cause he's some kind of tanky and won't need SF. My Tankadin is nigh on to be undieable, so he never ever will need SF or Negation and uses an Elvenbattle (and can stand out in PvP even with full PvE gear..).

    Frostburn for the looks ofc! (btw Frost is the weapon enchant, Frostburn is the armor)

    I threw my vote in for the negation because I got tired of dropping dead the 1/10th of a second after my soulforged went off I just recently changed and I like it more

    I used to sport Fireburst for the same reason. Unfortunately, all enchants are not equal.

    My cleric is actually sporting a Frostburn enchant because I got it out of one of the daily boxes, but I'm going to look into getting a Soulforged one.

    Speaking of the effects - I personally wish you could turn those off like you can turn off appearance on some pieces of armor. My getup is gold/red, so the frost just looks completely out of place.
