How to cancle the Masquerade quest?

I still have in my char 2 the Masquerade quest in quest book.
Masquerade event is over how to cancle the quest?

Highlight the quest in your quest book and click on or select the Abandon button.

I just submitted a bug report on this...

Beccause I would really like to get the quest out of my journal.

The Masquerade stuff has been.. inconvenient ..to say the least... first with all the stuff that you can't discard, and now can't even drop the quest.

You can sell them to a regular vendor.
