Jordan: Will there be any major class changes, stat tweaks, or anything of that sort included in this expansion that players may want to know about?
Rob: No, there’s not. For this Dev cycle, we took some time to look at classes and evaluate them. It was about identifying the process for how we review classes and starting our class review. So with this update, there’s no serious balance or class changes, but one of the things we focused on was figuring out what it means to fully review a class and identifying the classes we need to review first. A lot of that comes from player feedback – the PVP and PVE forums. We also have tons of fans of the games that are pretty hardcore class advocates, not even only for themselves but for other classes as well. We’re looking at Paladin, Scourge, Warlock, and potentially Cleric as the ones we’ll be doing class reviews for really soon.

Honestly...
..." we focused on was figuring out what it means to fully review a class and identifying the classes we need to review first"!!!
This is so abyssmal that it's almost good again.
Please, everybody, really: READ the paragraph for a guaranteed ROFLcopter...
They didn't have a process before?
"we’re doing a two-parter story for Underdark, so we’re going to continue the story there. "
So Mod 9 will be Underdark part 2?" I guess that answers questions about what will be after the Underdark module.
Well, one can also read: "We couldn't make it within the deadline, so we but some fluff in the stuff and split it in half." Or "We want to recycle our 3D artwork for another Module, so we stretched it out." Or "Players, love it or leave it we'll give you more of this and call it new." Or "Hot air, hot air, full of hot air, we love hot air..."
...oh well. This ship is sinking.
BTW Ron Overmeyer's very first paragraph is almost better than the one you quoted...
"I’m the Executive Producer of Neverwinter PC, Xbox, and worldwide. What I do is executive producing, a bit of that is working with a bunch of talented people on Neverwinter, helping them realize their dreams of what the game can be."

A memo I remember like this interview:
Desk of personnel supervisor (X):
We have determined that unexpected problems and disruptions have been causing to many interruptions to scheduling and thereby effecting business. Henceforth, in the future, from the date of this memo on, it is expected that team members schedule any unplanned problems. It is a disciplinary offense up to and including termination, not to inform supervisors in advance of any unplanned disruptions.
Guess they didn't understand what "unplanned" or "unexpected" means but to try and hold employees (what team were THEY a part of, that they threaten their fellow team members livelyhood?) to levels of precognition as a condition of employment? Rofl
A memo circulated at a casino I worked at:
Office of gaming operations manager (x):
Due to the recent events of armed take-over robberies, we have decided that new measures to tighten security have to be taken.
From now on, when change personnel access the change cabinets, they must ensure that the cabinets are closed and locked at all times, that not to do so is a progressive disciplinary offense. There are no exceptions going forward from today's date.
So how do you actually get the change out of the cabinet without opening them? Teleportation?
A employee (team, what team?) was actually written up and suspended because of this finely worded "memo" for 4 days until a arbitration hearing could be scheduled. The employee's rep, actually challenged the ops manager to read his own memo and explain how, the employee was going to do their job and also comply to his memo....his response was "well of course the manager was to use common sense...the wording was off but the supervisor should know that and act accordingly". The rep's return was "do you feel attempting to fire this 13 yr employee who has been 2x employee of the month had "common sense " used on them by the supervisor?". He conceded, it had unfortunately gone so far and ordered the employee be payed all the back pay and set whole....As everyone left he pointed to the supervisor and said, "you need to stay...I need to "talk" to you." Uh,oh!
That "wise" supervisor's great "supervising" cost the company 4 days of back pay to the employee 4 days of pay to the employee that replaced them during that time, the time of 1.5 hr pay for 1x of ea. ( said employee, union rep, arbitrator (at least $300 for their skills), the supervisor and the ops manager). So much for "wisdom".
.Suicide Squad.
At this point they might as well just remove the pvp armors and take the feat trees and try to make a full pvp route, full pve route and an inbetween route which most likely no one will ever use.
There's a lot of balancing that needs to be done but Cryptic has historically gone way too extreme in one direction or another.
If TR gets nerfed again in PvE, I'll just have to resign myself permanently to crafting many, many pairs of pants.
Here some clues.
Bubblaladin should not be able to protect team mates in a such large radius distance; for pve and pvp.
Bubbladin should protect themeselves with efficiency of course, but not an entire team with the same efficiency.
Bubbladin cause massive lags with his bro the GF.
Bubblaldin should not be able to chain spam bubbles, it sounds like obvious.
The bubbladin design is a class mistake for an action game, because the bubbladin give me a great desire to sleep when i play.
Bubbladin have nothing to care about your new replayable content because bubbladin and his team are not worried by your aoe damage zone even if they hit for ten gazillons damage.
Somtimes the Bubbladin would like to have another button to press, just to not fall asleep like the other member of his team.
The bubbladin have a MAGIC shield protecting his back -------> his bro the GF want the same.
The bubbladin is very annoyed because nobody like him, so the bubbladin is sad. Why? i have no ideas
stronghold is a 6.5 module.
The most important thing in life is to be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. Always be Batman.
Seriously - "figuring out what it means to fully review a class" - pass me the BS deflectors.
"Mod 6. Oh my f****** god. It gutted the game pure and simple. And what wasn't gutted was messed up by the poorly thought out new level cap and equip. The game never recovered from that atrocity".
..............not this one then.............

We are looking for non elitist guilds to join our alliance.
No class balancing?
No new dungeons?
No new adventure zone?
No restoration of removed dungeons?
What ARE we getting?
2 skirmishes... (the first of which appears to just be a single room based on the blog post today)
1 ten person fight... (which will most certainly be just as broken as Tiamat)
Even More HE's... (which we dont want to do, and are simply being placed in existing areas)
Mod 8 at least held some hope. After what I have seen of it on preview... and what we are hearing from Cryptic now... that hope is dead.

If Underdark has no new class or new race...starting to wonder what if anything there will be to get amped up about.
New maps are nice - but EE showed us how new maps aren't everything.
They almost sank the ship with the EE rollout - I hope they've learned their lesson and avoid any more massive resets on gear or XP.
Until they develop a tool that allows them to totally isolate PvP functions and class skills from PvE they will never be able achieve any balance. It's been seen and stated before, every time they balance something for one or the other pve/pve they frack up the other one.
They need a new achievement....."Most invokes without engaging in combat" achievement. Since the SW are so fracked and don't seem to have any chance of a fix any time in the next yr. the least they could do, is let them all earn a achievement while they sit back in their lairs waiting until they can get called up for some action.
In all seriousness though, the SW forums have been packed with useful info, written in intelligent non threatening language for nearly a full year now. And they are just NOW putting together a plan to look at it, and evaluate the class?
Give me a break. what the hell have you guys been doing for the last 8+ months at least? And are you telling me that the changes that nerfed TT were just done without any thought put into them?
Deeper and deeper guys.
And since Tiamat, they only deliver half-module and called it "New module"
Tyranny of Dragon / Rise of Tiamat
Stronghold / Stronghold PVP ( Ok for the pvp, they hadn't the courage to call it a module )
Underdark 1/Underdark 2
No problem
EDIT:
I forgot, we may expect the old gaulntgrym map recycled for the skirmish
