Total stat points from weapon sets

So I was checking things out and I found something I consider a little disconcerting. Not sure if it has been brought up before, but here goes.

Total Stat Points from Weapons (Underdark/Stronghold)
TR - 7934 (Pwr/Crt/Rec)
HR - 7934 (Pwr/Crt/Rec)
GF - 8171 (Pwr/Crt/Rec/Defl/Def)*
GWF - 9831 (Pwr/Crt/Rec)
DC - 9831 (Pwr/Crt/Rec)
CW - 9831 (Pwr/Crt/Rec)
OP - 10680 (Pwr/Crt/Rec/Defl/Def)*
SW - ??

All the stats on these new weapons are Power/Crit/Recovery regardless of class. *OP and GF have defense and deflection on their shields.

Why do some classes get more stat points than others? Quite a bit in some cases. If someone can give me a reasonable explanation I'll grudgingly accept it. Sans that I call shenanigans.

(This stat discrepancy exists on current mod6/7 weapons as well to a lesser degree)

Did you compare base weapon dmg, too. Furthermore HR and TR have two weapons, so there might be a scaling component from weapon dmg, making up for lesser stats.

Base weapon damage does have an effect on abilities powers, and that damage is scaled on whether a class dual weilds, uses 1 weapon or uses a 2 handed weapon. Thats all well and good. The stats however, should not scale along those same lines, which appears to be the case.

If all gear (head/chest/arms/feet) has identical stat allowances across classes (which it does), it stands to reason that weapons should do the same.

Giving certain classes 2-3k more of an offensive stat allowance for no good reason though? C'mon son.

The classes dual wielding have less stats. As it was, the mainhand scaled main- and offhand dmg. There is a ratio for dmg/ power. Something like 1 point more base dmg= xx points more power. You cant compare the weapons by stats alone and ignore base dmg.

Simple math example. Double base dmg = twice the damage. To genarate this with power, you would have to add 40k power. I dont claim, that their math is right, I jst say, that you cant compare artefact weapon sets based on stats and ignore base dmg.

If base dmg is not a good reason for different stats, I would gladly accept, that they drop the stats of my artfact set and double the base dmg. You get 7-8k stats, lets make it an even 10k, and I get the eqivalent of 40k power...

...a gwf weapon damage is still higher than the sum of both tr weapons or not?

And what about shirts and pants ? Or armor sets? The problem is there too

The shirts and pants actually work out to even totals if you drop the defense stat from your math. The defense stat is reflective of how much protection is reasonable to expect from a cloth shirt vs. plate, etc.
