As you know, this will be a new module right before the end of this year. I have doubts concerning the release date, because only three months left in this year and no details have been revealed yet. As we are waiting for the news, I would ask the community about their wishes.
You can share your wishlist here as well.
Four things I would like: - the return of old dungeons - new map / quest zone (storyline) like Dread Ring, Sharandar.. - epic, valuable, boe drops at the dungeons (with a very little drop rate) - maybe a brand new dungeon
NEW dungeons and various boe equipments better if new slots and not a replacement of what we already have. a fitting story.... some cutting to professions fixed prices and a fine tune of class performances.
if i see something recycled again i would really be pissed

I expect Dread Vault will return and Yshigoll will be so overtuned you'll die by just taking a look at one of his tentacles.
Only 1 thing I wait from upcoming mod is Warlock rework and hope that before doing it developers visit SW forum and read feedbacks/suggestions.

There is generally no information released about modules until the point they are about to go on the Preview Server. Something I seem to have to say before the release of every module.
Additionally it is important to remember they initially released this game with the hopes to maintain a three month release cycle so saying three months is all that is left is not something that is really concerning. In fact, logically, it has only been a month since Module 7 so I don't see why there should be even the faintest concern over lack of information regarding Underdark.
Truth be told, we've been told more about Underdark sooner than other modules in the past. We know that it will take place in the underdark, include the city of Menzoberanzan, it will have some quests written by R.A. Salvatore and include some of his characters.
That along with the fact we were told to expect a lot of blogs in the coming week on Social Media regarding the Underdark Expansion I do not see why you would even bother mentioning a lack of information when we are both extremely early in the release cycle and been given more information sooner than ever before.
I'm all for feedback but the feedback could have been better directed without all the concerns which are, in fact, business as usual. Especially when considering that, again, companies have a hard time revealing plans until they are finalized at the risk of being called out for 'breaking promises' when the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray.
1. A good progressive story. With Salvatore working with them, they really have no excuse not to have a good story 2. return of (at least some of) the old dungeons 3. renewed Foundry support
1) Yes. And new content/maps, not just a "city" stuck inside the Whispering Caverns map. Menzoberranzan should be MASSIVE... and it should take a month to even GET to there.. not a continuous grind of *blah*, but a compelling storyline that doesn't involve being someone' errand HAMSTER. Oh, and no more Valindra or "Cult of _________". 2) Yes, but honestly would rather have NEW dungeons.. T2.5? T3? 3) DEFINITELY. However, if Mod 9 is a Foundry Overhaul Mod, I'm okay waiting another 3 months.
But.. as for expectations.. Mod 6 taught me to not make any expectations.

Thanks for the information. I believe players are more impatient than before (me too..:)
new dungeons, adjustables difficults and... dont will happens, but, instead to create multiples maps+some HAMSTER mini dungeons, they created linked territorys that, after finished, can be played again in some "New game+ designe".
(patch of exile to give a example)
ps:i want see giant and deformed demons too... iam tired of dragons.
At this point, all I want are the old dungeons (CN) brought back with BiS rings and maybe some new Items that is also BiS that can be farmed and sold in AH (BoE).
Unless they introuduce this or other new ways to farm AD in big quantity (not like 800 rough AD per dungeon run), this mod will fail.
I would hope for a good war in the underdark. The Drow hierarchy can be dangerous at best and down right brutal at worst. Drow are traditionally very dirty fighters, with the women being 100x more dangerous then the men. Any singer player campaign would almost have to be a stealth mission into Menzoberranzan and any group content would basically be brutal raids into the underdark to either free captive slaves or attempt to kill some drow bigwig or stop one of Lloth's nasty plans.

As a reminder:
the first pic is so perfect! i m reading the dark elf trilogy and its how i imaged underdark while at it thanks for sharing
In Tyranny of Dragons trailer WotC showed Cultists, Severin and Tiamat... and in mod4/5 Cryptic gave us Cultists, Severin and Tiamat. I really hope it'll be same now (that trailer is so awesome :P)
1. I'm expecting a more thorough testing of the Underdark content, and more listening to player feedback. 2. I'm expecting more rewarding (XP, rAD, Stronghold Vouchers and so on) quests, for casual/solo or group/guild players. 3. I'm expecting to see more reasonable changes in the ZEN shop. 4. I'm expecting to see more fresh/new in game content. 5. I'm expecting to see more reasons for former players to return to the game with Underdark.

Yes please. I have said it before and I will say it again: I played NWN1 for 8 years because of UGC. I actually think the Bioware Campaign was boring and completely lackluster. If NWN1 didn't have the versatile UGC it did then I guarantee it would have been forgotten long ago alongside the many other D&D based video games.
NWN 1 and 2 both have avid communities all these years later due to their UGC. It pains me to think how underappreciated NW's UGC when it should be the star attraction and it has everything to do with lack of company support and nothing to do with the lack of player interest.
And by company support I don't mean featured quests and such. All the features in the world won't fix that players have no incentive to play foundry content.

I hope that with R.A. Salvatore's comments regarding the Foundry will kick someone into high gear and actually do something about it, especially with the release of SCL just around the corner.
UCG provides infinite content for any game. And the company doesn't have to pay a thing for it.
Makes dollars and sense to me.

Wow, very nice. I see Demogorgon is in as well. Probably another Tiamat like encounter.

ok, I'll try going with the prediction:
1) New class: Monk 2) Old dungeon returns: Dread Vault 3) New quest zone with Heroic Encounters and Dailies similar to well of dragons. 4) Demogorgon encounter a-la Tiamat.
My hopes: 1) More dungeons. -- new ones or old ones I really don't care. I just want more. I would like to see the old content returned and new added. 2) A new Campaign with + Skirmish and Dungeon and 25 man Raid encounter. 3) Rewarding and engaging Storyline with a way to integrate the new content with guilds and strongholds. 4) A way to fix professions or perhaps add in the game a way to refine more Astral Diamonds per day through content.
Relmyna - AC/DC Righteous + Haste| Nadine - CW MoF (working on it)|Buffy - GF SM Tact| Hrist - Justice Tankadin|Healadin (Wannabe Tank)| Lena -MI Sabo TR (Farmer) | Jeska - GWF SM Destroyer (Farmer) | Maggie - HR PF Trapper (Wannabe DPS)

Over the top what i say - adventure campaingn+adjustable difficult - one great thing should be temporary weapons that you take in the scenario and have your own powers (3 encounters+2 atwills/class features/dailes)_
like, in some place of the scenario, for a short time, a ranger become a "lancer" and the healer a "barbarian". you can even create some battles based in that. you can even create some artefact using that kind of change
... something like in guild wars. THAT will give some fresh air during the gameplay.

- I expect to see some type of class that makes sense for this expansion other than Druids.
- A Real good story line that I can really get into and enjoy from RA that has the Niche RA Salvatore touch to it
- Less refinement items.
- All our old dungeons back
- Foundry fixes (Achieavements).
- All the new demons we have seen in Wizards of the Coast's concept area as boss fights.
- New ways to gain AD through actual play of the game.
- More serious "looking mounts.".
- A Vast exploration area for the Drow area
- More class balancing and bug fixes
- Better looking armors that are worthy of the Drow race.
- More additions that include the new area and theme of it to strong hold enemy NPCs
I hope we see what I just listed in Mod 8, as this would make me and a lot of other people on this forum very happy.-Kymos
