Chat stopped working

I noticed earlier this morning while sitting in protectors enclave all chat stopped working. I checked my channels to make sure I didn't turn them off. Is anyone else having this problem?

    The chat servers are on a separate server than the game servers and can go up, go down, have maintenance, and crash independently. When they go down or crash, all functions related to chat (like custom channels, friends lists, etc) all become non-functional. Just be patient and they're return shortly, unless they're undergoing maintenance. If they do go down for maintenance, there will be a post about it stickied in the General forum for the duration (just like how server maintenances are posted).
