Angel of Protection and Companion's gift

I am about to get the free Angel of Protection from invokes. I normally use lizardfolk shaman as my summoned companion with defensive gears and it generally gives 2 companion gift.How about Angel of Protection.Can I get all 3 gifts.How is its skill CDs.Otherwise I will give up using healers and go with different companions

By the way I am turtle build GF and have blacksmith and dread warrior also

    I'm pretty sure the Shaman spams powers a lot more often than the Angel. The Angel is actually known for being fairly poor at proccing Companion's Gift.

    The Lizardfolk Shaman is one of the best healing companions in the game afaik. I seem to recall reading somewhere that they healed more often than even the old female DC companion. I use 3 Lesser Bonding Runestones on my Angel of Protection and saw CG proc often enough for my liking.
