While we are waiting for the servers to come back...

Regrettably I didn't get to spend any time on the preview server so I don't really know what to expect. All I know is from reading the dev blogs and the occasional comment on the forum and in-game chat.

So, can those of you who were more extensively involved on the preview server, could you share what we all might expect and what might be best to do first?

Well, there's an intro you have to go through that's interesting the first time, but if you have alts it's REAAALLYY annoying. Then, you need to team up with guildmates and do some stuff. Then some other stuff. Finally, you do a little more stuff. Along the way, contribute this and that to the coffer - it looks like a Mimic. Eventually, all the stuff you need for whatever your guild is building will turn green and that thing can be built. Then, you go do some stuff, and some other stuff... and...

I like doing stuff and getting things... that is the cool part of this game, Stuff and things.

Ya get a nice intro video when ya first enter your Stronghold. Then the Stewart sends you off to meet all of the NPCs and what they offer. You have to take a quest from each. The first Guild quest is too build the Lumberyard. You need a few players to tackle several HEs (any size) to gather the resources needed for the Lumberyard. Once ya have enough, your Leader can construct the Lumberyard. The Farm is next, so no need to bicker over what to build. One important issue is for NOT to have one or two players cashin resources to the coffer as they could easily hit the Guild Mark cap of 30k and then they're stuck until the market is built (3rd structure).

The rest is just fun and exploring.

I think you can build the Market before the Farm if you want to, but you can build the Farm first i you want. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

They change the recipe for Market....it now needs food.

Is there a compiled list of "items" that you can turn in for credit? I know you can do AD and profession people, and stuff in the SH area can be turned in.

Just wondering if like profession resources like iron are used. I spent a little time but not much.

The only Profession items needed are your Laborers (Guards, Smithies, Tailors, etc.) So everyone will eventually have to hire more to donate.

Other items include all the Campaign currencies, Enchants (rank 3 or more), old gear (any level 70 works), and gold. The rest ya have to fight for.

Level 60+. Blue gear you get playing SCA is totally guild donatable.
