From what I read it seems that parts of Stronghold require 15+ players to participate. How are small guilds supposed to do that? We are very lucky if five players of our guild are online at the same time.
My fear is that players of small guilds will sooner or later leave to join larger guilds. Otherwise it will take them a long time to get the new equipment. This will eventually be the death of small guilds.
I wish Cryptic would take this issue into account.

I have a feeling though, as Strongholds becomes more "popular", even the smaller guilds will drastically increase in size... I'm pretty sure that's why the devs capped guilds at 150 accounts. It would probably kill the servers pretty quick having 300 players running around in an instance. :-)

The thing I'd be worried about is that some stronghold resources are obtained by completing daily quests from stronghold npcs, and less players means less resources per day. It'll be slower, but by no means impossible!

It will be no different than running Sharandar/DR/WoD/IWD multiple times per day with alts... and in fact, each of the alts can grab the daily "Support" quest from the Master of Coins chick and that's more Adventurer's Shards for the Mimic. I run 4 characters, so that's 40 Shards a day, 280 Shards per week, if I feel like grinding. But if not.. those Dailies will stack in your journal, so you can do them when you get to them.
I don't see this mod as the "death of small guilds". Are we going to have to work harder? Of course. But that's how it's been throughout the game.
