um so I was wondering I am wanting to play a dragon born have the pack but not sure what class to play. Am stuck between paladin and warlock. I am mainly looking to do PVE both single player and with friends. Any recomendations between the two?
Play anything you like. All possible race/class combinations are viable. The differences in over-all stats are minor enough that no one will really judge you based on what you choose.
However, currently Paladins are very solo friendly and welcome in groups. While Warlocks are a bit underpowered after recent changes. They are paper cannons, plenty of DPS, little in the way of survivability.

As well as what Sockmunkey has stated the lore behind the Dragonborn race is better suited for Paladins.
Dragonborn have a well-known dedication to honor, and how deeply rooted this trait is remains debatable. However, all dragonborn tend to view all living things, even hated dragons, as deserving of courtesy and respect. To dragonborn, honor is more than a word and is often considered more important than life itself. Cowardice is not simply undesirable amongst dragonborn, it is considered outright repulsive.
But ultimately the decision is up to you. You should be fine no matter what unless you want every single possible advantage.

An Oathbound Paladin who chooses the Oath of Protection is incredibly durable and can dish out respectable damage. You will still be able to do some healing, but not a much as if you had chosen the Oath of Devotion. I enjoy playing my tanking paladin more than my Guardian Fighters, but prefer to play a Devoted Cleric over a healing paladin, (but that's just me).
