I invoke everyday on 3 characters... Haven't received a single coal ward since mod 4! Only got 2 wards since beta and sold one for 300 gold back in the days when they were unbound...
Well, I started playing last November. The character I created then and have played and invoked every day has yet to hit a single cw from a coffer. However, when the Summer Festival started, I finally decided to start a second character. A couple of days ago, he opened his second ever invocation coffer....and it contained a cw. Go figure
On a side note, I have been having more luck with Adamantine Gauntlet drops/pulls in Dread Ring. In the last 2-3 weeks, I have hit an Eye of Lathander and two GMoPotency. This was my second Eye but first GMoPs since I started. RNG in this game really can be quite a fickle beast.

Yes and I've gotten two so far but on 8 outta 12 toons that do DR lairs and ahve the Adamantine gauntlets, not one single Eye drop in almost two years (do the lairs several times a week on each toon).
The RNG should be called Sheila cause it's fickle like my ex-wife
yesterday I opened 10 of them and got only 1 preservation ward and some other refinement stuff but nothing with value.It looks like it doesnt even make up to the time it takes to invoke 6 characters 6 times a day.

Never seen one I haven't bought. Been playing 1 main since November. Never seen a Lathander's Eye, been playing Dread Ring since December. RNG doesn't like me much.
I invoke across my toons and the Coal Ward drop rate from coffer is rather consistent at 3-5%. Did not notice a stark reduction in the drop rate in Mod 6 though but of cause my sample size is small (opened about 100+ this Mod and got 4 c.wards so far).
Best option for Coal Wards = Bars from Boxes. 200 bars for a bind to account Ward. If you are relaying on Wards from Invoking.. I hope you don't plan to upgrade your Weapon and Armor enchants often.

i hadnt got any recent ward from invoking since last winter. it been long time.
I have 10 characters atm., 5x level 70, 5x level 61-68.
