I think they should just add tk versions of all the melee weapons. Z store items or special drops. It cant be that difficult to just reskin whats already in the game

Alternitively, you could have clones that do full auto attack damage but do not draw aggro. Atleast no more than any other npc would

I dont think they should have all of the casters abilities, it would be too much work for the devs and be unbalanced. If you've played guild wars 2, the mesmer can summon up to 3 clones that only mimic the casters auto attack. They only do about 5% of the actual damage and they last until the targeted enemy is defeated.…

No my point os to turn off the toggle function. Having auto attack turn off when i press the 1 key (which i do accidentally) turns it off regardless of settings
