New TP Power: Eclipse

A simple idea for the TP set, that chuold fit with some TP toons or Thames.

Eclipse: Eclipse forms psionic mirror images of its caster that follow and mimic your movement and powers. (Only 2/3 can be made)

Each Clone, can use weaker but the exact same powers as you do and allow them to draw aggro to them clones, however they can still sometimes attack you.

(Can't think of any Advs and such so I'll leave that up to you guys!)

Your title says TP (Travel Power) but you are describing what sounds like a pet power.

Well in the OP he says 'the TP set" ... I'm guessing Telepathy?

Perhaps, but then again I am not sure there will be something like that since telepathy already has what, at least 3 pet powers already?

Creating psionic duplicates might be neat, but giving them powers that resemble the owner's would require a lot of AI work and would likely be wildly unbalanced.

Darkness or telepathy pets that mimicked the casters silhouette would be neat. I'm not sure if they could duplicate the exact powerset though. But overall, not a bad idea for a power.

I've always wanted to be able to summon "Mr. Gemini" type duplicates. I doubt it will ever happen, but it's a wicked idea.

I think they mean that the pets actually wouldn't have an AI, they would duplicate the owner's movements and power usage exactly. It sounds neat... tho I can already imagine a heap of issues that would have to be overcome... and oh the exploits...

I suspect the easiest way to implement that would be to make it completely cosmetic -- the duplicates have visible power effects but don't actually do anything. Even that might be rough with how powers seem to be set up in this game, you could probably set their damage to zero but you'd get secondary power effects like buffs, debuffs, and summons.

I dont think they should have all of the casters abilities, it would be too much work for the devs and be unbalanced. If you've played guild wars 2, the mesmer can summon up to 3 clones that only mimic the casters auto attack. They only do about 5% of the actual damage and they last until the targeted enemy is defeated. They're mostly for drawing aggro away from the caster.

Alternitively, you could have clones that do full auto attack damage but do not draw aggro. Atleast no more than any other npc would

Yeah sorry about that confuse, it is from the TP power sets, not a Travel Power and we don't have any "PSI" pets, or atlest that ones we can control like normal pets, ones that just stay for a very short time.

This is more of a Master of the Mind Mixed with Summon Nightmare, but as PSI-Copys of your toon, that use the Aura that comes from Telekinetic Eruption when you fully charge it up. They mimic every move you make, stick close to you and deal damage

Excaly. The other idea to this side, is that they don't mimic your powers, but just draw aggro then rather use their own powers, like the onwer (As it can be hard to do and will be unbalanced if your not careful)

I'm re-making a 2.0 of this power soon, so I hope to see all you fokes back there
