As I understand it, it takes 999% to be immune to knock. If you're getting knocked either way, and are ranged, short of getting knocked into other stuff, not sure it's worth worrying about. Although I'll admit hitting the ground after flying 50+ feet doesn't feel good.
Gadgeteering isn't in too bad a place as a secondary to mix in with other stuff. A pet overhaul would do it more good than just getting it's kit looked at. Personal opinion: Force: Dire need. Earth/Might: Moderate All the rest could use tweaks, but Force is just...wow. And the whole Might category could really use…
Switch Descent for Pounce, imo. (knockdown to get an enrage proc going right at start) Or find 2 points to take stimpack on Descent. Otherwise I don't really find it worth the 15 second cooldown. Drop rush of battle/mass destruction for 2/2 Aggressive Stance and Modified Gear. Not heavy enough aoe that 2% crit matters.…
I have that character parked on a roof on west side. About once a day I log in and plink the 3 gangers on the roof towards rencen. They don't *quite* make it all the way yet, but someday. Someday.
Farthest I've gotten so far is 814 feet. Int primary, str secondary, all mods strength, hybrid, aura of primal majesty, teamed with a support with stacked presence and aura of primal majesty, Haymaker full charge.
Any chance the Steel Arachnid boots get glass so they can match the ENTIRE REST OF THE SET instead of looking like a dork with ice texture or Cinderella's Glass Slippers from last years subscriber monthly?
That twin-tail is amazing, at least if it gets a decently bit longer with the tail slider at max. The arm pieces are pretty nice in a techno-spiky way that might go well with the Destroid Boots and some other pieces.
That's what they WANT you to think. Just gives them more of a lead. They're going to sell all of the Zen off for Bitcoins and live like digital kings on the dark web.
Been wondering. I was starting to think it was one of those "Don't talk about the war." things. That or they decided to GRAB the money and run and are never coming back.
It's a bit clunky, but the system as it stands now lets off-tanks and kiters exist as options. And if we changed it all up and left Challenge so they could still do that (or some other form of taunt)...well, Tanks would just take that too.
I really liked the energy return for being hit from Con spec, but that really was kind of the least of it. Pretty sure what you're describing is the stat/spec setup I had before. Guessing I probably did more homework before I specced last time I played. =) I might just go back to it, though. On Challenge!, though I thought…
Adding, With endurance secondary I could *probably* add in toggle-version Sparkstorm in place of thundering. Not a great damage layer, ranged damage, so-so in general, occasional KB annoyance, but it'd add a bit and fits the goal of set up and tank and spank. It does eat energy pretty fast, though. And only 4? second…
Concept was taking the least amount of damage physically, or metaphysically, possible to stack and wandering around trying to find the largest packs of the biggest things I could survive. =) When I first leveled him he was more of a standard tank, conceptually a sort of magical T-1000 able to form weapons. Used to be…
Nah. I'm fine with it. But if you WANT to have that conversation, we can certainly do so. Personally, as was said earlier, I've been rather fond of the fact that the CO forums are relatively mature and calm.
Pretty much off topic, but I really hate cash shop crafting items. Oddly I have no problem with boosts, even drop rate boosters. Likewise way off topic, NW's astral gems ruined the game for me. I went in thinking 'yeah, AD&D semi-gritty fantasy!' and something about the shop keepers babbling about astral gems just felt way…
Hmm. Newish player here. I bought holo-force and the power armor bundle pretty much first thing and was/am eyeing Patterned and tech tights (which I also bet goes up a bit). Since at that point I'll have most of the expensive ones I can't really argue against the ones that I look at and think 'I wouldn't mind having that…
Darn you people who live in the future past. It's 11:44 for me already. Now whatever will I do for my lunch break? I suppose I could do the work I've been avoiding, but that seems like a terrible precedent to set.
Understandable says you. Do you people expect me to actually pay attention to work during work hours? The horror, the horror. I need my fix. /end obligatory complaint about downtime.
This thread convinced me to come back to the game (admittedly I was bored and reading forums to decide which game I wanted to give another try on). With that said, I'm enjoying myself, but I see a Caliga! Quick, someone tell me how to do the poke.
