  • Most stereotypical heroes would either be "Might" or some unarmed martial arts. Force Blasts can be classic, but definitely not in the realm of "Power Girl" and such. The only ranged attack she has is laser eyes which I guess you could somewhat bind to your Force Powers to fire from your head.
  • Yeh, the cooldown is what hurts. I imagine that's there so you don't get just loads of energy, off of something like Plasma Beam or whatever.
  • I recall an old bug about that. Like from months back (or a ?year?) I forgot the fix, but I think it's graphics related. Like turning up the detail on your settings (or down)
  • I agree with this one more. Sure most of the stuff is out-of-date but some of it is still valid. Sure, having the real forums filled with so many "archived" posts is definitely annoying. But a complete wipe would lose some useful info.
  • In the OP's defense... he is talking about using Parry with its dodge stuff instead of laser knight... as opposed to the assumed "+def" or "+dodge | +avoid" route for gear. I imagine the "best choice" would boil down to your Defense and Dodge/Avoid numbers to make the judgement. But I'm not a CO number guru so even then I…

  • Well it's been a while since I bothered, but... At one point you have to talk to JuryRig at the RC. I don't recall if that fires off the Vibora Bay arc entirely... or just his little bit. I vaguely recall the JuryRig time machine to happen closer to the end of the big VB arc than the beginning. So perhaps it's the…
  • That's what I like about DCUO and City of Heroes City of Heroes, you'd get "debt" (I assume that's still true). If you die too many times, it becomes a PitA to continue leveling up. So you try pretty hard not to die. DCUO, your gear gets damaged and eventually falls apart. You can repair... but those repair jobs can get…
  • I have to concur with the "Support not really needed" comment The only time I really see it needed is for something hard, like Gravitar. Between her strong attacks and temporarily standing behind the tank and getting hit by the cascade... having one of your team mates with support can help nicely. But usually you're…
