How does the currency drop from mobs? I've been killing mobs in every zone for a while and didn't get a single event currency from them, also, have you noticed the anniversary destroids are still active on Millenium on the PTS? It's been like that for several patches now.
Sadly, the only two options to fix the problem are if you are running DX9, turn off anti-aliasing (which can be forced using the NVidia Control panel for Champions Online) or running the game in DX11, which has problems with black boxes appearing on some world textures.

BUG Implosion Engine dissapears when killing targets that don't stay after dead, like the telekinetic worms the elder worms spawn in their attacks or the qularr flying bugs.
It would seem like you have a problem connecting to the game servers, it could be a firewall or security program blocking the launcher and the game from connecting, but yeah, the best is that you get a support ticket.

I recently had a similar issue with my SSD, I had to download and install a software that would show which files and folders were using much disk space, the tool I used is this one: https://jam-software.com/treesize_free/ It's easy enough to use, I hope that helps you out.
@wraithshadow13, the patch is in the test server (PTS) not in live server, so if you have acces to PTS you can test it there, if you can't access PTS you'll have to wait until it goes live, which will be probably tomorrow. Hope this clears things up for you.
Happy to report that the PTS patch fixes the game client for me, CO works again! Yay! Thanks to the support crew that received the reports and the devs involved in the fix for this problem, you all did a wonderful work.

That's one of the first things many people has tried to do to try to fix the launcher getting stuck, but it doesn't helps at all, my guess is that there is something more than a video driver problem to this problem, but I understand it might take you guys time to find it out, I just hope you really keep looking in to it…
You can try disabling windows defender, obviously, install another antivirus, NEVER EVER stay without an antivirus software! I've disabled windows defender myself, but there isn't any change in the situation, the launcher still gets stuck.
After reading that the Neverwinter client works in version 1803, I managed to make another test with another computer, that still has version 1709, I found out something interesting. @kaizerin Thank you for your reply, good to hear you are still working on the fix for this problem :). I tried completely uninstalling my video driver and reinstalling it again, but it didn't fixed the issue, it's still the same.

I remember that there is a way to add Champions Online to the list of programs that CCleaner can scan and clean, but I'm not sure if it cleans the files you mention or not, but if it doesn't you could ask the maintainer of the winapp2.ini file from CCleaner to add support for them, the only thing required is the full path…
I agree that the MODs have to be for each damage type,,I think it might make things more customizable and easier to understand for players. Or maybe think about a MOD that could add elemental damage to powers that don't have it, so we can have elemental MA powers, without doing that much work on them.

This is what devs said in another thread: "There's currently an issue with character copy and having too many characters on PTS. For now the solution is to delete characters from your PTS roster (keep it under 8). That should address the issue."
I also agree that those are too cartoonish for my taste, I would have preferred a more realistic look for them, but I guess there will be others that like that type of looks as well.

I confirm that @kaizerin solution is the correct one, I deleted a lot of characters on PTS, leaving less than 8 characters (in fact 7 characters) and copied another character to PTS and it worked without any issues, thank you!

I think the problem with people not doing anything in alerts, could be solved if the devs fix the scoring system in them and make a minimum threshold value that players must meet to be able to receive rewards, if players have less than such amount, they will get nothing, that way, everyone has to fight to get a reward.
