    I notice you were using force detonate. Force detonate works really well when ego is around 300, which is a real shame since this stat must be overlooked now in order to stack int for stealth sight. Anything under 300 in ego I've found it to be not as effective as it should be. One would think this would affect other KB powers that rely on ego but not so, since KB up and KB back seem to scale on different mechanics.

    They scale on the very same mechanics. First a power will have a base Knock distance somewhere between 0 and X. Ranking the power has the same effect on the knock distance as it does on the damage. So around 20% per rank.

    Ego is 1% ranged knock strength per point. The more potent the base distance is the more effective Ego will be. This is why it effects the distance of powers like Cascade or Detonation so much more strongly than Geyser. The Ego scaling is applied after ranking. Quite simply KU has a much lower base distance than KB.

    Actually it's a pretty well known fact that in pvp a majority of the population copies a few people’s builds. In fact I can pretty much name them on one hand, "Dark Legend, Darken Might, Sister Smash, Xenomorph Drone, Kidbs and Kien. There were a lot of others in the day Like Static Warbringer “who pioneered sigils in PVP” and a few others, but certainly not you.

    Where those players went so did the majority of the pvp community as well. Either with the base structure with a few tweaks, or just a right out clone.

    For example I was the first to go Chainsaw, so did most of the melee community to the point they had to nerf it, I then went Inv Dodge using DU, brute strike and DW combo, so did most everyone else in melee, I then go PA, so did a large population after the pass (NOBODY played PA except HitechFoxy and I) I then remake the EBON ruin duel build and now you see ER everywhere.

    But no matter how you skew the facts without your sodium pentothal you cannot change that it was Kien that invented the Force DET ebon ruin combo, I know I was on the PTS when he and Big Green Slimy Sniping Machine were testing it. I even played it for a few weeks myself because force DET was stealth buffed and only a few of us knew this.

    Just like how Dark Legend demonstrated that the FC build was the only even match for my Ebon ruin build and now you see all of dark crusade copied FC. These are the facts and you can’t even say this reply is all about me, it’s not I’ve listed several players who deserve a lot of credit for many of the recent builds you see today.

    You should just thank us clone.

    Your response is about a week late.

    What I was referring too was after I started with Force Det and Ruin, with videos up and all, next thing I saw was ppl from Dark Crusade trying to do the same thing (WHATE MACE, Occult) but they couldn't beat me in duels with the same build. That's all.

    You sound very stuck in the past, nesno. And instead of being nice, you choose to ostracize yourself further from the remaining PvP community with this elitist attitude. That's come to be expected of you though, so I am not exactly shocked at the constant trolling you dish out at me no matter how long it takes you to type a response :biggrin: I'm tough and can take it!

    For sure it's easy to stomp and take over now that everyone who ever had a clue about all of this vanished out of the game. Tell me something, you don't make all these videos to attempt to prove that you're awesome, right?

    No one owns a build; some just came up with combos that kicked **** and spread from there. CO pvp has always ebbed and flowed with the flavor of the month as the arms race escalated. A combo would be found, then a counter, then a counter to the counter.

    280 days later and I see ER and FC are still prime and the metagame hasnt really changed except defense/heal builds are fairly obsolete. My con/pre double bubble FC build is seriously out of date so I'm rocking a generic MA to regear.

    I'll see you guys around for a while until GW2 hits.

    Of course not. Hell, most of my videos are not of me being in first place. I just hope they can be educational to other people new or aspiring to CO PvP.

    At any rate, please try to keep this thread about posting PvP videos, eh? :D
