This thread has been created to gather the top two bugs in Champions Online from each user that posts. These bugs can be on any part of Champions Online, and not just on recent PTS content and/or updates.
The bugs that are reported should
not be based on feedback or balancing issues. The Bugs that we are looking for are
similar to the examples below:
- I cannot turn in this mission for the reward.
- Critters in this area do not ?aggro? to my equal level character, unless provoked/attacked first.
- Text Typos.
- This power has no graphical FX on the Lowest Graphical Settings.
- This power is doing Crushing Damage, instead of the stated Fire Damage.
When this thread is being reviewed by myself or another developer, the reported bugs will be reviewed and added into the original post for easier viewing for our developers and player base. If this thread becomes too large to manage, I will create a new updated thread and bring over the current list of bugs that we have gathered at that point.
Going further into keeping this thread as clean as possible, I will be enforcing a few additional rules for this thread, and
only this thread. These rules are posted below:
- Users should submit a single post with no more than two bugs. We will see how the first wave of posts go, and we may change this restriction.
- All content in the post will be related only to the bug(s) that are being reported by that user.

Reproduction steps:
- Join an Alert that is located on the Vibora Bay Map.
- While on this Map, Force the Client to Crash.
- Restart Client, and log back into this character.
- Observe the Character?s spawning Location.
Result: Character has spawned outside of the Alert?s Playable Area after a client crash, and is now stuck and can no longer participate in the alert.

Oh and yes tab targeting is still buged but if you can fix targeting compleatly. Alright targeting you would tap tab and it wouldent target the mob near you. Also clicking on the target it dosen't always register as you clicking on the mobs box if that helps
Location: Crisis In Lemuria or Lemurian Crisis map.
Coordinates: Unable to obtain coordinates at this time.
Reproduction Steps:
Result: This results in the 4 other players to not be able to enter the Submarine instance and is unable to continue. This also results in only one player of the 5 being able to fully complete the associated mission with the Crisis map.
Expected: All the players who loaded into the Crisis should be able to enter the submarine and Complete the mission simultaneously.
#2 Summary: Alexei Fyodorovich's rank on his character model is incorrectly labeled as "Captain".
Location: Either Lemurian Crisis in Submarine or Echinocos Shores, Monster Island at /loc (2596 10 3102)
Reproduction Steps:
Result: His rank is labeled as "Captain" however both in the in-game mission briefing text and in the PnP (Hero Games lore), his UNTIL rank designation is "Commander".
Expected: The name of the character model as just "Alexei Fyodorovich" without any rank designation and in all biographical/mission text referring to his rank; it should be labeled as "Commander".

Read the ENTIRE thread. And that's not even the entire list of costume bits that has issues.
2) Gravitar either kicking people out after they've zoned in (You are not part of this instance, kicking you in 10), or Gravitar starting without everyone zoning in first. Why in the world does the most difficult Alert not have the 'waiting for players' bit popping up?
EDIT: How to cause Gravitar to start without getting everyone loaded in:
1) First person in immediately goes through the teleporter and charges Gravitar.
2) Those who hadn't loaded into the instance are now stuck behind the force shield when they do load in.
2.5) NOTE: Yes, it does 'punt' people forward who are behind the shield when the first person activates Gravitar, but those with slow PCs who haven't loaded yet are stuck.
3) Again, why doesn't the hardest Alert not have a 'waiting for players' countdown like every single other Alert?

Reproduction steps:
Following those steps its expected that energy form cancel will refresh forever (well... until you kill your target with the energy builder). This seems to happen as well with other talent buff interactions.
#2 Summary: At the tailor, the 4th color of individual pieces (with this I mean the colors on each piece on the right side, not the general colors that you link to on the left side) won't show you the color you've chosen as you hover them. It will show only as you actually choose the color, making it a very annoying bug.

The bugged costumes are, as far as i'm aware...
All 3 arcane DEMON costumes on the PRIMUS vendor
The 6 Fire demon and DEMON costumes on the UNTIL vendor
The Lemurian back spikes and the Lemurian tail spikes on the UNTIL vendor.
Gravitar boots and gloves do not show in the appropriate parts list and can only be found from the treasure search box.
Replaced my graphics card to a more recent one (Radeon HD5450) and those effects don't show up anymore despite putting settings to max. Not sure if this is exclusive to the card.
2. Valerian Scarlet's arm ribbon is separate from the entity.
In all instances.
- On Stop the VIPER Counter-Attack Mission the Gadget Boy and the rest of the Until Soldiers just stand at the beach instead of moving into the disabled Mega Terak area to help. This makes it so the player doesn't realize that Gadget Boy has a mission for him.
Become Lemurian Power Armor
- Magic Missle Barrage has no sound fx
1) Travel power: Hyper Ball. There is no difference in animation via the various ranks. Also weapon powers (Ex: Cleave from heavy weapons, Dragon's Wrath/Sword Cyclone from Dual Blades, etc.) do not display the weapons when the power is used with the travel power active.
2) Placement/scaling of wings on female models. The placement and scaling of wings (bird/dragon show this in the greatest severity) is too far apart and too large on female models. The result is the base of the wings cutting into the arms of the female models, and in some cases, appearing detached from the back.
Getting knocked while using a Maintain power will often result in the player getting stuck in a knocked state for the remaining duration of the maintain in addition to the knock duration. This is most noticeable with powers that have long maximum durations, such as Lead Tempest, but it effects a wide variety of maintains, if not all of them. Given that this compounds the already problematic nature of knocks disallowing any defensive powers to be used, I feel this is a pretty good priority.
...I just recently realized something really disturbing. We're all eating Sodapop3's "humble pie."
2) "Glowing Eyes" (from ANY source; Dark Transfer, Shadow Surge, Costume piece, etc) ALWAYS show out the back of the characters head.

2) Please apply the fix you intended to Smoke Grenade to make Cosmics and Legendaries immune to it's effects. it was stated in the recent patch notes but was never actually applied.
2: Toggle stacks (and even the passive Defiance I've found out today) when ranked up will still drop off to zero. Requiring you to build them back up from scratch again. Shouldn't you only need to build them up from whatever rank they were supposed to be?
Reproduction:
1: Take rad sphere, hyper ball, or snowball roll and activate it.
2: Take any powers that utilize weapons.
3: Stand there and use them, wallah, no weapons, enjoy your invisible guns and swords.
2: You totally broke the travel power charge interactions with the patch you did to fix being able to use two at once.
Reproduction:
1: Fully charge a travel power.
2: Wait a second or two, then begin charging your second one.
3: Your current travel power will instantly cancel the moment you use the second instead of allowing you to charge it fully.
This is a major annoyance to anyone with combinations of flight/land or anything/teleport since if you're trying to move in a continuous upward motion, you end up falling 50-200 feet every time you try to change powers mid-ascension. (Aka: ALL of my characters.)
Snark never dies.
Long time it was that just that unlocks are ignored, no nothing is loaded not even Body
or Face changes.
2. Some Nemesis Types like Darkness and Dual-Blade makes the Nemesis disapear
in the Mid of Fights and so often makes Missions unfinishable.
1. At the end of the Thick as Thieves mission (where internally it shifts to The Lion's Den). The Mission doesn't Update and you are unable to complete it when you bust up the meetings. Defender stands in the center like he's supposed to but you are unable to turn in the mission.
2. On Live. The Open Mission Bullet for Bissel (however his blasted name is spelled) won't start.
1) The nemesis powersets: Darkness and Dual blades (so far that what I have seen)
- Sometimes, the nemesis disapears or passes throught the floor with those powerset (testing with the others and nothing happens. Only those powersets do that)
- The missions that happened to me were Doomsday device and sometime, not alway, Skipping the Rift (also known as NemCom)
2) Travel Power: RAD sphere.
- Like many said here, it makes the weapons disappear from your hand. During a PvP fight, you can not see what kind of weapons they can use, especially for a Munition user. So we alway need to see the animation of that player to know which kind of power he/she uses.
-Broken missions. Bunker Buster. Jail Break....
-Dissappearing Nemeses
-Suiciding henchmen.
-Nemesis Creator.
-Lack of nemesis missions (oh, that's not a bug...)
2.The Player Run Chatban System
-Clicking 'Ignore' enough times, mutes player for 24 hours. That's not what ignore is for. It should only make ignored players chattextes invisible for the 'Ignored' user.
'Report For Spamming' used enough times, mutes player for 24 hour. That's not what it's for. It's for reporting Gold Sellers. There is no GM to go thru the reports if the 'RFS' player is actually a Gold Seller.

Verry nice but here are the bugs THAT havent been fixed FOREVER.
Im talking about the global unlock systeem all these listed here only have a local unlock
Inferno (or infernal) costume pieces including the fire demon head, DEMON collar, gloves, chest piece, (necklace?), fire demon bracers and fire demon horns.
Lemurian costume pieces all of them.
While were at it I also like to call attention to the few minor things like giving us cracked flesh legs in all honesty these little things could improve the game so much.
2. The current implementation of the Gravitar lock out can lock out players if someone aggroes Gravitar before said players finish loading. This issue is mentioned in more detail here: Click me! While the current implementation DOES prevent a player from relogging to bypass the lock-out, the use of a countdown bubble seen in other Alerts might be necessary.
EDIT: Couple more issues I've seen in recent costumes: Holo Hex Shoulders are not linked up to be seen as "Both", and can only be selected by choosing the left and right channels. This makes them appear to be missing to players who do not search for them. This issue can be seen in the Beast Greaves and the Gravitar Boots, likely along with other pieces.

2. Some tailor issues I have noticed. One being that if you are changing colors on a piece on the left or right side only, while hovering over the colors they appear on the opposite side as a preview but are assigned normally once selected.
The other being armor patterned in chest wear cannot be used with robot arms even though it is just a reskin of the sci fi chest wear which CAN be used with robot arms.

2. Primary (edit: slotted) utility items are not in the drop tables. In an SG I'm in team magic thunder I have a friend who does nothing but run content, collect drops, and puts them in his SG bank. We have several tabs dedicated to every secondary item type. We have a slew of primary offense and defense. We have 0 primary utilities. They just aren't dropping. EDIT: GREEN primary utility items are in fact dropping. But by level 40 we don't want green, we want some slotted blue gear, and slotted blue gear is not there. There may be some unslotted blue gear at lower level for primary utilities, but my primary concern is slotted primary utilities.
2. Vigilante's Hastened Eyepiece, it states it gives +338 health but it should be boosting cooldown reduction. I don't know if this is a graphical bug or an actual mispowered item.

2. Kevin Poe is not Mindslayer. (On certain alerts, the wrong VO is used).
I was going to use my second bug on an actual bug but this entire mechanic is broken horribly unrewarding. Using rank 9 mods on both CCstrength and CC resistance the difference in hold time AND hold magnitude is very small now that you've given paralyzes a blanet buff. This ENTIRE mechanic including the values of each hold, hold modifier, resistance, resistance modifier needs to be changed. This is my TOP issue and will remain so until you do a FULL review

Use any stat but PRE and the effects of the passive do not boost.
This is not totally correct. Ive looted dozens of primary utility items. They do seem rarer and harder to come by. But hardly undroppable.
The problem is all the drops i've seen have been green only. Blue or better seems to be ultra rare.
Our society has traded responsibility for entitlement. It's time for a change.
Action: Main Menu > Help > Report a Bug > (Go through all actions and then click on Create Ticket)
Later: Main Menu > Help > View My Tickets ... The list is empty; therefore, no tickets are created.

UNITY missions still give out the old UNITY merits sometimes when an enemy is defeated. These merits are completely worthless now. We even still have the old UNITY Merits, UNITY Intelligence and UNTIL Tokens in our lists, but these can no longer be used or anything. May I suggest converting them over to questionite for those players who still have them and remove the UNITY Merits dropping from UNITY missions.
In addition, the old Qliphothic tears are still appearing in old UNITY missions. Maybe convert these into possibly Questionite nodes that can give a little Questionite.
Also, the special missions we can get inside Therakiel's Lair, the drops from the various bosses, the rewards are still a burnt Therakiel Feather. Since these are also useless now, perhaps a Questionite reward in place of those or maybe Silver Champ tokens instead?

2) The "compassion" toggle don't refresh correctly when you're using shield or heal on yourself or anyone else. Sometimes the toggle is at 0 stack. It seems there is the same problem with "manipulator" toggle.

2.) A Bullet Bound for Biselle is still broken and it has been like this ever since On Alert went live. The last time I checked, the VIPER aircraft carrying Viper-X and the other VIPER goons get stuck in the sky during the last stage of the mission. This in turn prevents Viper-X from showing up and causes a failure. Also, the aircraft will be permanently there until a server restart or something of the like. Afterwords, when the mission starts over it gets stuck on the "Wait for the Mayor to begin his speech" phase forever. Don't know if this is still what is happening, or if some other bug is causing this. I just checked the Live server (forgot what Zone #. I was in) and it was stuck on the "Wait for the Mayor to begin his speech" phase.
Both of these bugs have been here for quite a long time now and it's time something is done about it. Nanobot Swarm is just a bad power until that bug gets fixed.
To reproduce:
- Set auto attack to "toggle, never cancels"
- Toggle energy builder on
- Enter an alert
After zoning, energy builder toggle will no longer be active.
2) Pets disappear when entering alerts and must be summoned each time you enter an alert. This can also happen when entering a regular instance, but it's very random.
To reproduce:
- Summon a pet (I use munitions bots and support drones)
- Enter an alert
The pet will no longer be active.
2. Tonns of costume bugs.
Actually, you can use the LEFT bracer with anything you want. The right bracer is the one that doesn't work with chest wear, and is what makes it not appear in the list for "both".

That is not actually a bug. Pets don't change levels dynamically. So the whole side kicking thing messes them up.
If you go into an alert lower then level 30. You'll keep your pets but they will be under leveled. However, you'll loose them when you leave. So you cant end up with pets higher level then yourself.
Conversely if you are above level 30 when you join an alert. You loose your pets. Because they wont side kick down and this prevents you from having level 30+ pets in the alert.
1. Switching "Bound to Character" costume pieces to "Bound to Account". It messed already some ideas i had for a char up.
2. Remove the silly restrictions and just lock out unique parts, Defenders Armorpieces or Therakiels head for instance. Sure there will be clipping then, but that happens partly worse with existing combinations and some working are locked out. (8 Bug-eyes which are normally for the insectoid head can be like glowing orbs floating over the head for instance.)
I love to create characters but often the concept gets messed up due the restrictions.

Also, my pets have despawned when I was playing under level 30. In any case, it's highly annoying, and I find it really hard to believe nothing can be done about it.
edit: And come to think of it, I've experienced this outside of alerts as well, but it isn't consistent.
