Well,the server did have a patch this morning,but had a BIG bug in it that involves SG banks,and now they are trying to fix the server,according to TT,there is no ETA as to when it will be bought back up yet.

I'd say no, just some fixes to alleviate whatever just happened if I understand TT. I'm guessing trailturtle would be the community liaison?
What we'll have (hopefully soon) is an incremental update from what we had pre-maintenance. It will not have some things, but it will have some new stuff.

there is only ONE fantasy mmo *cough- WOW- cough* that doesnt have as many problems... and thats because its been around for a really long time. those people that played in wows first 4 - 5 years will remember all of the problems that they had in their youth to, and you have to remember that right from the start they probably had a huge developement team and massive budget...

WoW had servers rolling over and dying left, right and center in the first year. Heck, we managed to crash my server by doing massive world pvp in tarren mill.
They had the infamous plague that infected the whole world and killed players as soon as they logged in. They had servers lagging and crashing on the release of their first big new content patch (Ahn Qiraj or whatever it was spelled).
I did quit it a looong time ago (got tired of fantasy mmos)... but no one should expect anything different, regardless of game or company or budget (and as a side note, expect even worse if its from SOE).
MMOs are just too massive and adding new code can always have unpredictable effects on live that didnt show up on testing.
The devs, however, should be aware of this, and avoid adding new code (except for emergency bugfixing) on weekends, because things do go wrong from time to time, and on weekends the backlash from the community is a lot worse.
well idc the new NA AT.. ive seen a video where all the powers were explained..and i was not happy about it.. maybe it is only me but the new at isnt as epic as some other ATs...the NA AT has low FX
well and if the NA AT is going to be a GOLD AT it will the at with the lowest cosmetics .. the stealth skill only increases 1 attack... so stealth is only good for snipers...lol
i bought the invicible with cash because it is cool and has many efefcts... but i will not buy NA AT because it is boring
Then there will be the Vehicles wich wil be PAY also i think.. because they are become devices... those are maybe fun to have , maybe worth to buy...

as many peopel said we would love to see some new content for lvl 40+ and also... Supergroup Hideouts...and FINALLY fixes for dualblade and darkness nemesis..

They found the bugs within minutes and are fixing it it better they do this now than leave it over the weekend till Monday.
I always find it odd that most MMO companies even the big boys like PWE and A.B dont do weekends
Or why they dont do updates on mondays instead of fridays, so they eliminate any potential weekend long problems.
Or at least not during the 3 hour questionite bonus time that only rolls around for me once a week roughly at a time i can actually make use of it (that 3 hour time window being over halfway through now during this extended downtime)

I was in the middle of making my NightAvenger when the servers went down again after the patch, ya would think after so many years I would know not to leap back into the game after patching :biggrin:
And OH NO just noticed, how do I get my VANGUARD title back with this new PWE account? My Cryptic one was a special title for winning an event, the same as CHATs, but I guess I can't use that now I had to make a PWE account

I just logged on as the server went down so had no idea what got updated and was like wow long downtime thankfully I have lifetime sub and love the game. and thanks trailturtle for the updates on how things are going
