I wouldn't think so, as "The Mountain" is a Premium AT. (Remember "The Tempest" and the "Storm Rider" TP? )
Actually... I think he might need to resubmit.... just look at "the impulse" and "the devastator" both are premium ATs and both had their gold/premium/crafted pieces removed. Though yeah we need a dev word on what are their plans on default costumes for ATs.
Rox: They agreed to make it you, it should be you as you.
There is a question here though, do you still want it to be you? As unoriginal as Silver Players tend to be, there are going to be like 20 billion Roxstars running around now.

We have tons of Duratok's running around! We need moar!!!!
Ok pretty sure this is a bug normally I can run the test server as full screen full quality now if i do so it kills the PC. There is some kind of message about the display driver but i cant make it out due to the display going to hell a reboot seems to clear the issue untill i run the test server again any ways.

Fixed that for you. Keep in mind, there's at least 1 entire SG full of knockoffs ingame right now...and alot of them are Gold.

Really?
If so, then they need to overhaul "The Tempest" video to have all the Premium AT's be uniform in access.
Personally, i agree.
But since they're removing C-Store costume pieces from AT examples, i guess not.
My argument for removing "Storm Rider" from the Tempest is that you can't buy it outright.
So IMhO, it's a tease to have it in a premium AT video
That was my plan but it looks like that message was telling me that the driver was corrupted as now the displat is screwed in windows as well that or the GFX card his bit the bullet
*edit*
looks like it could well be the card though i'll try a full driver wipe and reinstall later but working on the theory that it is any suggestions for a replacement (current one is/was a inno3d nvidea 8800-GT with 512 of ram pretty old but has served me well). Nothing to extravagant something in the £100 to £150 (course less is better) price range.
While you guys are looking at the tailor, would you mind making those metal-only parts have a cloth/leather option? Metal can completely ruin a look, and if it's the only option for that piece, well .
Second this!
Often I find myself trying to dig for an armor piece that actually doesn't look like a faded out pastel water blob - i.e. has a non-metal version. And generally the costume creator's lighting with metal pieces doesn't even fit the majority of lightings in the game.
Ooh! Ooh! Also...some way of making the default skin layer universally metal (and presumably leather too). I gave UP on it for the most part for my main character because it eliminated so many options. I would generally have to either pick something out of the armor covering layer, or take tights and put it on metal which could make 'skin' parts look metal too. Still a few options, but not enough for my wants of 3 trillion social outfits.
My joy would be unspeakable if I could simply pick 'metal' for skin and not worry about what peaks through the clothing.
I won't even bother planting a costume idea for crystalline/diamond skin. Really I won't.
Any chance of getting a respawn point near Kodiak? I died on purpose down in Lit'el It'ly just to see where I'd end up and it put me at the Jet. Thats quite a hike back to that area at that level.
I do have a question though. Why did you change the Purple Gang "Heavy" chain attacks out? I always found them annoying. Which translates, for me, into they were effective. Now the whole Gang just seems to be a push over.
One last thing. Again, not sure if anyones brought this up. Tremor does a half foot stomp while charging and then the full footstomp when released.
I think one of the reason to remove non free costume piece from AT is to avoid people complaining that they don't have what they see when purchasing an AT.
It happen in the past, there is no way it will not happen again.
And could we pleeeeaaase have the <Enter> functionality back. I hate having to click something I should be able to select with <Enter> after scrolling with the arrow keys. Not everyone wants to use a mouse.
Also, the other day I was not able to rotate my characters in the tailor at the powerhouse.
I personally don't get the Silver costume rework for the ATs. Wouldn't Cryptic want to sell the shiny new stuff rather than promote the free ones??
I think the idea is to make it really painless and easy to get new players into the game instead of being hung up at the costume creator. Not everyone is a fashionista, and I'm betting a lot of people really groan at the idea of having to wade thru the creator to put together a costume when they just want to roll up a character and play.
I see your point about wanting to promote paid pieces, but this would only serve to slow down the creation process as well as hitting people up for money right out of the gate, which some may find a bit tacky.

You should open up your case and make sure your vents and fans are dust-free and working, including the ones on your video card.

Pretty much I think that's the intention with the new AT costumes. And honestly I like the idea, though they really need to put nicer costumes on the ones that got their pieces butchered.
And Rox... well at least if you have to give them a silver version of your costume, you can say that you won't have Rox clones running around the city.
Edit: Just noticed this:
Bug: on the AT selection screen if you click on "show full progression" and then scroll around the ATs, you'll see negative values.
Bug: Typo in the powerhouse explanation sequence: "equipping gear" is misspelled (spelled "equiping").
Bug: any mission left unfinished in the tutorial still appears in the mission list after completing the tutorial. I didn't finish the Foxbat mission and the mission list says "return to tutorial".

They always say that. the only way to get rid of it is to drop it.

Some of them yeah, the Impulse lost most of its cool stuff, and the Tempest Inlay no longer glows. Not to mention she got a weird haircut change for some reason.
On the plus side, I actually love what they did using the Tendrill tights for the Inferno, that's something I've never thought of with top.
Concern: Not sure if these changes are as designed or opened up from the availability of the remote power trainer; but through leveling up to the tutorial XP cap. (level 6 + extra XP) I noticed a differences between Freeform and AT power unlock rates:
Freeform Power Unlock Rate:
Lvl: 4 Super Stat
Lvl: 5 Travel Power, Power
Lvl: 6 Talent
Archetype Power Unlock Rate:
Lvl: 4 None
Lvl: 5 Travel Power
Lvl: 6 Super Stat, Power
Seems a bit counter-intuitive to provide more options to Freeform players pre-powerhouse exposure; if possible I'd recommend changing the Freeform Unlock Rate to the below example:
Recommended Freeform Power Unlock Rate:
Lvl: 4 - None
Lvl: 5 - Travel Power
Lvl: 6 - Super Stat, Power
Lvl: 7 - Talent, +2 Advantage
This way the only difference between the two character types would be whether they choose a "manual" or "automatic" power selection path until they reach the Powerhouse tutorial.

The impulse used a lot of the arms crafted costume pieces, afaik the inlay tight lines were never able to glow in the first place, and the hairstyle the tempest was using previously was from the City Defender costume pack or whatever it's called, the one with all the urban-themed pieces. All something that a new silver player wouldn't be able to access just coming in, which is most likely the reason they were changed.

Yeah, I'm not assuming anything. They removed the comments about travel power removal in the zone (which I'm happy with as it didn't make sense when the first thing you see is Sapphire flying about) and from doing collision checks, it also seems this new map covers all the potential "holes in the world" that could have opened by doing so.. So I'm not taking chances

Yeah, I noticed the bit about the travel powers was removed, and yeah, it didn't make any sense considering both Sapphire and Kinetik used their travel powers. Hmmm... I guess we shall see. I don't have any particular objection to allowing travel powers in the tutorial, but it seems premature since the powers tutorial doesn't come till you hit the powerhouse.
Those of us that have the Antigrav Boots have been flying around the tutorial since day 1

Actually it did glow, even in the video. Which is what makes it odd compared to the original. I actually went looking for the option in the completely unlocked Tailor, which leads me to believe the old Tempest was an original character model.
And yes, we've covered the Arms Pieces being on the Impulse, and at the very least they could have used something similar to keep it the same. What they have now is...pathetic. It looks like a Power House Trainer who got a color change.
Some of the costumes they did for Silvers are great translations, others not so much. Which is what I'm talking about.

I meant they can't glow in the regular, Live version of the tailor. What you see in the videos is not always accessible to us. Watch the Void video, it's a perfect example.
I agree that some of the costumes are not-so-great (most of them, really), which is why I'm hoping they get redesigned at some point in the near future.
Hey, there's an idea. You have a forum full of Costume Designers, we could rework the costumes for Cryptic
Suggestion:
Run an AT Redesign Costume Contest. Require that all pieces be Silver level.
I am 100% completely all for this. Of course, you would have to not use pieces unlocked through gameplay as well, since even though Silver players can get them, they're not available from the get-go.
ALSO, I mentioned the Void earlier, any chance we'll get some of those nifty unique unlocks she has, like that vest or the pattern on her legs? That'd be supah-awesome
Bug: The "New Group" button gets stuck on screen after Full Metal Jacket in tutorial
EDIT: Same thing happens after passing through prison break.
I'm actually in powerhouse now and its still there.
Is it normal to get an inventory full of rewards at the end of the Power Up mission.
Just finished Power Up and got 24 inventory slots filled with items.
New Police station in Westside is awesome.
But that bay area behind it is a nightmare for speeders. Unless you updated the water jumping.
I meant to test. Then found everything else.
I got firebombed at Socrates at the prison at level six. There was no reason for those prisoners to target me,
I was in the street opposite a concrete wall from them.
The cops took care of the prisoners but I could not access Socrates because of the fire.
The little action packed 3D movie on a trigger that's happening for my entertainment is
starting and completing before I get to the actual entrance of the prison.
Maybe if the prisoners are set to primarily target a specific officer rank, and you stick
him north of socrates, then the firebombs can always generally head in that
direction, look awesome, and not interfere with Socrates interaction.
Or move socrates? Thats always been a bizarre spot for her.
Bug
Sonic gun causes frame rate drop when used next to a player
Where it happens
during combat around another player with the Gazetteering power.
What happens
my fps dropped to 8 fps from 26 fps when high lighting was on. 12-15 from 26 fps when it was off.
tested in the new Little Italy section of Westside. Tested it flying, standing, and attack along side other hero
To reproduce my results.
Step 1
Make a freeform rock hero at level 8 and give him the rock energy builder, the first the ranged AoE, with the advantage to stager at full charge, rock shield, earth flight and the rock backhand strike (sorry I don't know the name).
Step 2
Make gadgeteering hero with sonic gun energy builder and pulse rifle attacks.
Step 3
fight mobs from purple gang around Little Italy
I love the new progression for the beginning 1-8 levels as well as the new route for the tutorial.
Each hero is presented as a threat to evil just but unprepared for what happened, instead of hapless
and a joke. Defender as more than a joke, makes a lot more sense to have him holding off the hordes
of enemies himself instead of being knock out the fight. This feeling, for me, extendes to how The Champions now actually seen defending their base, and the cannon. Their presence seems less of a joke because of it. This makes me kinda want to play the tutorial again just because of the new presentation/
I have two problems with the new tutorial now.
The first is, where the Silver Haired super soldier, who's name escapes me,
area is. It should be, in my opinion, moved closer to the entrance to the antenna
array with more enemy's attacking her position (like what happens in demonflame).
My reasoning is due to the player's new pathing to her.
Since the mission you get from The Police Chief is so close to her it feels like you are
skipping helping the citizen npc's due to where her mission takes you. Every where else
directs you casually to the next set of contacts up to that point save for that interaction.
it stands out way to much now that the shift has happened.
The next problem is in the new cut scenes for the tutorial. There are two Defenders at the ending
cutsceen seen. I am not sure if that is a Zenogears style story progression or not. If it is, The
Defender, who's arm is the only thing seen, needs to be bumped over a bit. The tutorial also needs
some comic panels to bring it in line with the rest of the game. I am not particular about the placement of
most of them save for three.
1) A silhouette of a generic hero when the "We NEED A HERO!" line pops up so that so you don't see the player hero until it is done panning to you.
2) A explosion shot of ironclad hitting the Mother ship covering up the big black hole already on the ship.
3) The fly by of the flying drones and near the pile of rubble needs one as well.
Also, the new Power house is great. I love the new intro move that explains all of your powers. So good, so very dam good. And the "main store" costume store for the Powerhouse is great not only thematically (as it explains where all the tailors get their stuff) but the much needed functionality.
Now get that new endgame, crafting, and inventory sorting management in and I think we have a complete package that people here on the forums are clamoring about..
I've only dipped my toes in briefly on PTS, but one opinion I formed was that the Power House Tutorial cutscene option (it was offered in the Trainer Menu on my character) seemed problematically easy to miss from being listed generically among all the other menu options. Some UI emphasis or hinting of signficant buttons would be one solution that would also help with other times I feel the list of options suffers from a "sea of sameness" issue, but in this particular case I think one of the special pop-up windows (like what was added to the Tutorial and intro to Ren Center the last time some changes were made) would be more suitable for the significance of this cutscene to players who would benefit from it.
Perhaps this is already the case if you enter the Power House directly from the Tutorial, or, if I understood a brief mention correctly, it automatically starts when entering for the first time from there, but it wasn't the case for the character I was using when I entered.
Bug: Traffic moving south clips all the parked black cars in little italy.
Where: Little Italy, Millennium City
How about you block that street with Purple Gang cars and a mob?
Stop vehicle traffic in and out of Little Italy. They are really putting the muscle on the 'hood.
Block the direction leading to/from the police as well.
Getting run over at Blinded By Psience manhole was always really bizarre.
No traffic would be fine, unless that traffic is a hit that tears out of the car dealership.
One black car, guns blazing, every time anyone completes that mission. Good times.
Also The 3 Black cars plus all those tables make it not a very fun place to be speeding around. GoooThunk!GoooThunk!
I can't seem to get any decent jumps, just keep getting stuck on geometry.
Maybe a parked delivery van instead of a car to give us a step up.
Less cars and less tables would be an improvement.
Otherwise, it sure is a lot of fun being low level again in Westside.
Bug: New Serpent bottoms for females with male muscle bumpmap
Where: tailor of course
Not sure if anybody mentioned yet but i just did noticed the new bare serpent bottoms for female use the male muscle bumpmap wich really looks wierd with females. Please correct this.
I hate how we are required to crowd around the trainer NPCs in the center to access respecs, because I always use a respec menu if I train so that I can see what I got most recently and if I want to reorder it.
Can you add them to the remote training options, or move NPCs back to the edges to avoid the crowds?

him north of socrates, then the firebombs can always generally head in that
direction, look awesome, and not interfere with Socrates interaction.
Or move socrates? Thats always been a bizarre spot for her.
Step 4
/showfps 1 and verify.
Make a hero with Gadgettering powers
Perhaps this is already the case if you enter the Power House directly from the Tutorial, or, if I understood a brief mention correctly, it automatically starts when entering for the first time from there, but it wasn't the case for the character I was using when I entered.
Where: tailor of course
Not sure if anybody mentioned yet but i just did noticed the new bare serpent bottoms for female use the male muscle bumpmap wich really looks wierd with females. Please correct this.
Can you add them to the remote training options, or move NPCs back to the edges to avoid the crowds?
