CW. Why? Immunity to nerfs. Good in PvE because Devs love it. Good in PvP because Devs love it. Obvious answer. CW. Go GWF if you want to work 10x harder than a CW for the same result. Then kill yourself when GWF gets nerfed again.
Classes still unbalanced. PvP still as stale as it was 4 modules ago. Gear still as stale as it was the last 2 modules. PvE still as stale as it was for the last few modules. All this time and all you managed to do was tweak some numbers for mobs? My company opened a new center in Europe and the one developer we have there…
The logic behind that is the problem. We have, what, a dozen armor enchants and 11/12 of them are useless. To counter this, your only solution is "Abuse the flawed mechanics or gtfo"? I'm pretty glad I stopped playing now.
As someone who actually writes software for a living... The algorithm isn't complicated. It's not even hard to implement. You could write a small script to fill an enumerable list with integers and still fit them into balanced teams. With the way matchmaking works in most other games, it wouldn't be hard to implement it in…
I'm not impressed with your posts either. Allow me to explain. First off, yes. You should play the class before you start to talk about it. You have SW friends in your guild? Great! That doesn't make you an expert. I have GWF friends but I wouldn't even begin to talk about the specifics of the class or even say it's "doing…
We just gave you reasons. We also find it ironic that a 4.7k GWF is saying SW is fine. It's even more ironic that you don't defend yourself when we say you've never touched the class. Then again, if I knew I was wrong, I'd try to ignore it too.
Pretty much this. Damnation already has a handful of problems with not only feats but also core mechanics. Ironically, Damnation still puts out lower DPS than Fury in PvE. Even more ironically, Fury DPS leaves a lot to be desired when considering the abundant nerfs since release. The class "isn't fine".
They won't close it down because someone's always willing to borrow mommy's credit card for RP. Meanwhile, the carrot-on-a-stick philosophy is reeling in even more saps.
It's great when crusade-era mods go through and ninja half the discussion but don't bother cleaning everything up. If only the ********** stalking every post I made had the balls to announce it, or do their full job. Even CCP Forum Mods are better than this.
Ironically, this. The only changes to SW we're even remotely likely to see will be fixing the exploits and bugs, like the 0 damage thing and the puppet doing stupidly high damage. As for the rest of the fixes, QoL changes, reworks, redesigns, pretty much anything that would benefit the class, the likelihood of that is…
You're posting GG videos. Let that sink in... You're posting GG videos... To prove SW isn't bad in PvP... And you're arguing this to Misery....... I don't even.
SW can apply a 100% damage debuff to one target for a few seconds. This means Avalanche is completely alright, even though it actively works against every class. Because logic. That's why this game is ****.
Have to agree with this. In Mod 5, each artifact set sorta had a unique class (or set of) or unique playstyle centered around it. Currently, If you're DPS, Lostmauth is the set to go for. I upgraded the new Imperial Dragon set on my TR simply because I expected Lostmauth to get nerfed but still.
So... Instead of heeding player feedback and, i dunno, fixing the hundreds of broken aspects of the game, you hold a sale instead? To add to this, the price of these packs has increased. So it's 25% off an increased price, which barely makes it a sale. Can I buy a "Revert to Mod 5" pack now?
I think you have a problem with understanding how this game works, honestly. The Blue Set has pretty crappy stats for nearly every class. Your options are either the epic set from T2's (because no one has time for that Black Ice ****) or PvP gear. If you really want to wade through the landslide games, immortal DC/OPs, and…
Oh, look dungeon runs with the typical composition with pretty good gear. God forbid anyone needs to run those dungeons for the gear. I really think we're all missing the point of the complaining here.
Schiet is right, Creeping Death amounts to pitiful damage right now. If you were to fully spec into Fury with and without CD, the difference would be nearly negligible. In fact, it was lately nerfed twice because our "compensation" was never implemented. Damnation does decent damage. It just needs a few tweaks to iron out…
And CW is? CD combined with TT is what gave SW the trash clearing potential. In fact, it's the only thing that gave SW trash clearing potential. DT and FB are useful but nowhere near as potent as what CW has. So, really, why are we suggesting a nerf to a capstone that's already been nerfed several times?
Divine Judgment needs to be looked at. Granted, OP is more of a support class and it excels in that role, it would make sense for a daily, which is also their only very damaging skill, to have high base damage. However, that base damage is capable of practically one-shotting anything. GWFs can pull out some ridiculous…
I probably should've been a bit more explicit. It should be possible to solo your dailies. You're not trying to solo ToS when you do your campaign dailies in IWD. Just tune down the difficulty a bit. Major HEs like Remoraz or Beholder should require a party. My SW was only 16k in Mod 5 but still couldn't really solo those…
