Zen sales. Money, money, money, is all you need... Honestly, I'm just glad they're planning on paying some measure of attention and effort to PvP. With the combat system this game has, the potential for great PvP is right there staring them in the face. I'd be happy with a few extra maps and a couple of different playmodes.
I'd say he's got a point, especially since the PvP artifact came on the market. Yes, high-powered PvP centric guilds don't really care much about Glory, but there are a lot of players out there who haven't earned enough Glory for the artifact yet. Seems to me I've been running into a higher percentage of premade groups…
Like pretty much all the other events that have a group competition, it will benefit you to seek out an instance that is sparsely populated. Makes a huge difference, trust me. Well worth the time and effort if you want to maximize your event farming.
I get it it. I'm not a dedicated PvPer, but I do enjoy it. Fact is, if you took away the artifact/glory items/Daily as that earlier poster suggested, you'd only have the most dedicated PvPers left, and that would kill PvP for amatuer enthusiasts such as myself. Not really a viable solution, at least as far as I'm concerned.
Couldn't agree more. The best PvP matches I've had have almost all been come from behind victories. There is nothing in this game more exciting than that. When you quit early, you're depriving yourself and your teammates of what could shape up to be a very good match.
Eh, not sure that's a realistic expectation, mostly because leveling goes so quick in this game. Most of the time you spend on your GWF will be in endgame. I'd say balance there is much more important.
Um, Boo-hoo? Sorry, but GWF's are crazy powerful in PvP right now. Just ran into a 14k GS one in PvP and it simply could not be killed. An absolute beast that was pretty potent offensively as well. Pretty much singlehandedly won the match for its' team.
Yeah, but if you're farming it, it comes out to less than 1 AD per RP. It's just the time investment of running Sharandar dailies in order to meet the other requirements. If you're anything like me, you probably finished Sharandar with some extras as far as the requirements go. I think I was able to craft 3 of these in 3…
Seems the most economical RP generator is the lesser Fey Enchant right now. 25k RP for 20k AD and some Sharandar Farm time, as the enchant requires seeds/charms/blades and sparks. Still far and away the best bang for your AD.
9 times out of 10? I think I've quit 2 PvP games the entire time I've played. Once after being spawncamped and once after lagging so bad there was no point in continuing. Quitting is for quitters.
Click on the artifact or enchant that you want to refine. Scroll down to "refine artifact/enchant". Plug the pearl/peridot/whatever into one of the refinement slots and click "refine". Points will be added to artifact/enchantment.
Kind of have to agree. My build/gear isn't exactly ideal for PvP, but it's not terrible and it's functional for PvE as well. I can't really afford to build two sets of gear, so I try to straddle the line a bit. Have to say the new artifacts/boons help quite a bit with this.
I'd change #1 to "Ask" your teammates to go to mid. In general, trying to take a leadership role can be helpful, but I get a bit turned off when a teammate is "telling" me what to do.
Depends what class you're talking about. The Gauntlygyrm set for TR is pretty much the best TR PvP set. But yeah, a number of the other class sets are [BLEEP].
You don't have to play PvE for gear, but unless you buy Zen, your gear won't be all that great if you don't. And no, there's no PvP specific stat. There are Stats that are much more important in PvP, such as Regeneration and Arpen though. In other words, there are PvP specific builds.
