Way too much crit strike dude... With 1.1k crit in PVP I have 45% chance. Lower your crit strike and put about 300-400 of it into Armour pen. And your life steal is a bit too high too... I'd say 2k max if I am honest, especially if you have the last boon from Dread ring 'Endless Consumption'. Have around 2500-3500 crit…
After reading your post yesterday and checking out Rustlord's pvp/pve combat-reflect build guide: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?631041-Combat-Reflect-Executioner-Build-for-the-Non-Stealth-TR I decided to buff up my deflect even more and go with all silver 7s in defence slots + tenacity/deflect pvp…
Thank you, at least some-one agrees with me stealth is not the " Be all and End All " of the Trickster Rogue man. People forget that TR is the only class with such high deflect severity plus added deflect from both our Ability score rolls and Feats. Deflect, in conjunction with tenacity can be a really devastating…
Oh I love fighting GWFs 1v1 without stealth its so much more fun and rewarding when you spank them at the end of it. And fortunately for me, 90% of GWFs that I meet in PVP expend all 3 encounters at the 1st 2-3 seconds of the fight, its just habitual for a lot of them I think, its very easy to counter-attack in this time.…
Actually I see tons of ppl complaining here that they cant fight GFs and GWFs cos of all the cc etc. And no, I have come up against very good GFs and GWFs, its really not hard to anticipate what your enemy is going to do once you figure out they're attack pattern/skill rotation. You assume that no TR is good enough to…
You cant compare armour and stealth just stop it. I use stealth too dude but to ensure finishing blows or to escape danger temporarily, I don't use It excessively because I think its the only way to win Its just cheap and annoying, constantly hiding in stealth throwing daggers that don't do any damage at all -> Bait n…
I don't know the statistics but if you tell a healer to use that combination of buff + de-buffing you will get what I mean. Attack doesn't mean anything as a stat its just the total of your offensive stats (Power, Crit, ArPen and Recovery) that's all. Crit Strike and Recovery is not contributing to any damage at all.
Lol so basically your saying its not possible for a TR to win a 1v1 fight against any other class except itself without the over-use of stealth? WRONG If you were good enough in the 1st place you wouldn't have problems against GFs and GWFs CWs and HRs that keep their distance is a diff story but there are ways and means of…
You must time Your dodge rolls + ITC well Go get yourself a bilethorn and stack duelists flurry, it will eat up their shield and HP like its nothing. Remember that GF and GWF cannot dodge, they are stationary 90% of the time so stacking DF on them should be easy.
Ice knife is strong still though... I had a CW crit me for 20k earlier, most I ever got critted from ice knife was 24k and that was before the patch. TR is meant for dps... shouldn't really be compared to a control char.
Its perfectly viable, its not hard to fight ppl 1v1 without stealth Hit and run? Stand and fight dude. Do you think its impossible to win without perma-stealth or something?
No... taking away stealth would be like taking away unstoppable from gwf. SS is lame, perma-stealth is NOT the BE ALL AND END ALL for rogues... Please stop thinking that it is.
I would go P.Bile, it eats up GF shield and GWF through unstoppable like nothing. I've been using it in pvp for the last few days and am loving it. I don't think im that great either, I could be a lot better in pvp but it frightens me to think that 90% of the TRs have now rolled perma-stealth as a "solution" to fighting…
Its just my opinion but I think its cheap and everybodies doing it because they are scared to fight normally in PVP, whats more is its not fun. When you can fight toe-to-toe with an Iron vanguard GWF without over-use of stealth and still spank them, then you will relise that you are sacrificing too much damage and time by…
Well, there are other alternatives you can use in pvp to substitute for impact shot... Deft strike for more maneuverability and to catch + slow ppl who are running away... also can teleport you to ppl hiding on top of ledges/pillars and stuff. Smoke is good too.
I say this because they use it to no end to the extent where they rely on it so much. If this is your only means of winning the battle then yes, coward.
A lot of buffs and de-buffs going on, plus stats and gear affect your performance heavily of course. Without any buffs/de-buffs going on just solo'ing sharandar or whatever I can probably hit 30k lashing blade.
No idea what your talking about... I have not had a problem defeating a Perma-stealth TR yet. In my honest opinion they are lame, no damage dealing cowards that hide and run whole time. Its easy for me to defeat them because they are so Effing predictable.
That set-up sounds lame for pve to me... Your not gonna be doing any damage at all. You should test it against a full Executioner dps build rogue not other perma-stealth ones :/
Currently I am running: 1) Ion Stone of Allure ~ Epic - 10% chance to slow 2) Rust Monster ~ Epic - 25% chance to inflict 5% damage debuff on attacker (stacks 3 times) 3) Fire Archon ~ Epic - +5% damage to enemies below 30% HP 4) Dancing blade ~ Rare - +3% Critical Severity (In progress of making it epic 5) Blink dog ~…
Haha, see the thing is about those GWFs is that they spam all 3 encounters at the start of the fight and are stuck on cooldown with sure strike (at-will) as their only active power, this is a great time to build your counterattack, if you have Shoxecution up you will devastate them. Now, if you have good life steal + regen…
I don't know what it is about cryers and whiners in this game... Every other class complaining about rogue being too OP... Rogues complaining about GWFs being hard to kill... I actually enjoy fighting GWFs in pvp, with the correct rotation and build (definitely NOT perma-stealth) GWFs are not that hard to kill, and im…
Permastealth rogues are useless. In both pve and pvp you sacrifice way to much dps just to avoid direct attacks... I refuse to ever go permastealth and I do not have a hard time in pve or pvp and my damage is through the roof.
