HP boost from CON isn't minimal. It's a percentage bonus that scales linear with your total hp so CON is even more important with the amount of hp on every piece of gear. higher CON is very important for Aura of Courage which is probably the best aura both paladins can use.
The whole justice capstone is bugged. Seems like both the description as well as the mechanics are wrong. Maybe this is being addressed in today's patch. Biggest advantage right now in Justice is Echos of Light, making your encounters refresh immediately sometimes but still at a more or less reliable frequency. Radiant…
You could spend more feats on the charisma crit feat and only put 2/5 into constitution to get more crit. CHA also contributes to your AP gain. Valuable stat with 3/3 feat for both protection and devotion.
You can also buy low level pvp swords that work for GF and OP both, some of the few items the devs have converted to be usable by a paladin. I hope they soon will change all existing shields to be useable by paladins as well, right now it's GF-only.
I was wearing lvl 25 mace until ~lvl 50 because the paladin is way too strong and it got boring. After lvl 50 and especially the new lvl60-70 zones, you want maximum performance again. And I'm not even talking about Icewind Dale with its lvl 73 enemies. So up to lvl 50 have fun with an overpowered class or downgrade…
Thrice. It was so much easier with my ranger a while ago to get power points. Now with my paladin: 3x power point, then 3x nothing. 2 million xp for companion xp tomes and a few rank 6 silvery. Older characters really have an advantage because before mod 6 you earned pp 3x as fast. 4 million xp in total at lvl 70 and I…
Done this myself with cleric and man-at-arms. Its not easy, but thats where you can learn a bit and try new techniques, getting better. Cleric was my first character and I died 2-3 times in this quest. If you are going to group at difficult quests, you won't learn much and perform badly in dungeos, etc.
One class that hasn't been addressed by MMOs for ages in a proper way is the bard. Cryptic could gain legendary status for an awesome bard implementation. Its a classic D&D class after all.
I'll sign any petitions for this issue. I also chose the run speed feat so I wanna move in melee stance. Edit: I noticed that I can't create topics, only reply to existing ones. Is there something I missed?
I'd say it will be a paladin or the equivalent of 4th edition. Can heal, can tank. Covers those highly needed slots for dungeons. And everyone wants to be a paladin!
