Nice write up. Thanks. I simply like the mechanics a bit more than my GWF or TR, and I watched a video where some sick guy was solo'ing one of the dungeons. Looked like survivability was high, and I've sort of seen that myself. Still low level, but in tower district I ran into too many mobs, around 15 maybe after dodging…
Leveling mine right now, lvl 14. Im trying to maximize the potential of the class by starting out with ranged and when they get into melee, I drop into melee abilities. Seems to work but Im taking a bit of dmg too..:(
Not reading the whole thread..but I had a few things to say about the foundry: I generally do not run any foundry quests let alone the daily foundry. Why? There isnt really any point to it. I am afforded two hours per night to play, if I don't split that time with another game. Currently I need to get my dailies done…
Dont take this the wrong way...then you are "playing wrong". Either that, or any game that forces you to guild is doing it wrong. And in WoW, you dont need to be in a guild to do anything. Maybe in the first 2 or 3 years you had to guild to raid. But you asked in map for dungeon groups, trading, etc. Then came dungeon…
I truely don't mind a game that has 5-man content that is so difficult it is considered 'end game'. I would be more into dungeons if most of them werent so easily exploitable and glitched. I would love to consider difficult 5 man dungeons as 'end game' rather than tradition raiding where I need to schedule off time per…
Ill agree with OP. This is the first game that I have shyed away from dungeons and it is sad because honestly..the dungeons, while they are definately add fests, are difficult to an extent. They arent push overs like in WoW. They do require a bit of coordination, even if it is an add fest. And I like that. But I hate how…
I started the game on my TR to about 20..stopped and started DC to max level and geared. Loved it. Then started GWF and loved it. Then bounced back to my TR a bit more until 30 something..then stopped playing for a while. I am slowly coming back, but not sure I want to play my DC anymore. I see many of them, and where I…
Thanks. Pros and Cons. Love the combat, graphics, etc etc. The AD costs are outrageous. Aside from the campaign, dungeon crawling would be all thats left. I might just wait another few months.
Has anything changed since May/June? Are entire dungeons being skipped to get to the end boss? Is the foundry still useless outside of the Foundry event? Is there anything to do for a level 80 solo player? Is gauntlgrym still fail? Have they toned down the number of adds in boss fights? Is epic gear salvageable into AD…
Hey Nalfen, I remember you from Tera so I trust that you know what youre doing here. If you are still monitoring this thread, could you(or anybody else) point me in the right direction of picking powers, feats, paragon while leveling? Also, this toon was my very first toon in neverwinter, so I didnt know what I was doing.…
I would hardly consider GW2 an MMO-lite game. Even though the content they have been adding is more fluffy and filler than anything else, it is still stuff added constantly for free. And they are trying new things every few months. Guessing that game you are subbed to is WoW...a game that was content to stay static and…
Looking forward to some dyes. And I must say, I am stoked to hear that the first module/expansion/whatever due this summer includes a new zone with new quests, a new dungeon, etc. Lets please just scrap gauntlgrym..what a fail that was. More content for EVERYONE to enjoy is the way to go.
