Hi, I haven't really played Neverwinter a whole lot in a month or so but have been keeping a distant eye. Have there been any interesting changes to the game in the last month or any future changes? Anything worth coming back to? Anything for a solo PVE player to look forward to at 'end game' besides 5man epic dungeon crawling?

"solo PvE" ... well, the Faywild campaign currently available on the Preview server looks OK - at least it is a whole lot more interesting to solo PvE players than Gaunlgrym ever was - repeatable quests and decent rewards.
Unfortunately, a number of other changes are being made, in particular a really bad change to Rogues, which will really hurt them in PvE, so if you play a Rogue, you might want to look for a different game.
Those changes are not on the "live" servers yet, though.
Hoping for improvements...

As adinosii said Fury of the Feywild is up for testing and it has lived up the expectation of myself and my friends. It's worth checking out however it will not be on the live servers until August 22.
Are entire dungeons being skipped to get to the end boss?
Is the foundry still useless outside of the Foundry event?
Is there anything to do for a level 80 solo player?
Is gauntlgrym still fail?
Have they toned down the number of adds in boss fights?
Is epic gear salvageable into AD yet?
I havent really played in a few months..stopped when gauntlroflrilla came out, went back to GW2 for a while. Now that I am finishing a few things up there, I was thinking of giving Neverwinter a look again since I really liked the classes, build diversity and the mini dungeons while leveling.. But outside of that its a poor game
If you think it's a poor game, play something else.
If you don't want to skip dungeon content, don't. The Foundry still contains many enjoyable player crafted adventures, so it still has the use it was meant to, which is to provide players a means to make content. There will shortly be a great deal more for solo 60 level players to do, with the upcoming expansion. Gauntlygrym was never 'fail'. It continues to be enjoyed by many. There are still plenty of adds. You can sell most epic gear in the auction house.
The game is what you make of it, as are most games.

Is the campaign system looking like good content for a solo player?
