After validating files a couple of times and rebooting the machine, I managed to get through that part where patching would get stuck. Case closed.

I am experiencing the same problem as well.

Please don't introduce the new stamina-based guard block. Although I do not consider myself a GF Master, I have been playing the class for quite a while and I liked the old system. The new doesn't feel like much fun, it feels bad too. Keep the old block and just make it stronger, able to withstand more damage than it does.

Video--->advanced settings--->effects, and turn post processing off. This advice did work in my case and I'm online, no crash yet.

Same here. Shadow strike, Lurker's assault....nothing will fix it apart from dying. Good news are, that usually doesn't take long without a stealth bar:)
