The cat companion isn't supposed to be giving you stats based on the gear you give it. I'm pretty sure its a bug right now so don't expect it to last forever. In the long run, the Ioun stone will be better because it specifically says it gives you stats from the gear you equip it with.

Yes this is a real thing and does happen to more people than you would think. It is caused by the rogue's smoke bomb skill, and it has nothing to do with people needing better computers. Exactly. Been happening to me all day. Wait 2 hours in que, play for 30 minutes, get random disconnect, wait another 2 hours. It's getting ridiculous. I really don't mind waiting out the initial que, but we need a disconnect period of like 5-10 minutes where we can log back in without waiting in que.

I've got the same issues mate. Only started since the free people came to play on 4/30. I wait an hour in queue, play for about 30 minutes, and get disconnected, then put back in the end of the queue. They don't even have a system to give you a minute or so to log back in with your spot if you get disconnected. Pretty lazy…

I'm having a lot of disconnecting issues as well ever since 4/30. I'll just randomly disconnect while selling to a merchant, or in the middle of killing something, and then be put back at the start of the queue, 5000 people in front of me, just from a stupid disconnect from the servers side.

They're just making the queues seem like a big issue so that 100's of people would go and buy the Hero packs for $200 so they could skip the que. Then they say they are going to 'fix' the problem tonight, after they took in much revenue from tricking people into believing there is a 50,000 queue wait.

Most other games have good programmers and give you a 5-10 minute window to log back in with your spot just incase of random disconnects and crashes. Preach my child, Preach it like you mean it!!!!!!!! I totally agree. Ever since the opening to the public, I get random disconnects every 30 minutes, then be forced to wait another 2 hours in que. Game is unplayable beyond imagining now. Guess I'll come back in a few months to see how things are going.
