I wish. I've been doing random dungeons in all tiers but epic on SCA for about 2 hours and got not a single one.

You have to do the event SCA challenge. The bigger, spiky one on the map.

You have to do the event dungeon, not just random dungeons. The event dungeon does drop ~20 insignia for each run though.

I've done over 75 HE's with 33% or so being Great Success and not one supply drop or one medal. I highly doubt that my event is in proper working order. Its beggining to ruin the whole event for me when my brother is getting drops left and right. IF anyone could elaborate as to why some people are getting so many and there are still yet people that get 0 drops.

I'm a DC and I'm full support/ heal specced. That said I achieve great success on almost every single HE in this event. I don't have the issues that the OP apparently does.

Those are NOT the medals.

Read the names of them. They also have a medal icon, but they are not the medals.
I've forgotten the names of the medals. They both have medal icons and I'm pretty sure
they both say "Medal of..."

I'd bet anything the programmers couldn't name all the NW currencies off the top of their heads.
(side note: placing some of the currency into the inventory doesn't make it non-currency.)

I stand by the currency in this one being convoluted. Hard to top the wing-dings, do-dads, widget mess tho.

Do like killing the dragons. Dunno why the enemy Leaders are so weak though. Should double the HP.
Did you really think anyone could steal the power of the god of thieves?

Rather boring. In non dragon encounters NPCs have so few HPs that I don't have time to hit them with my DC before the lone ranger done killing all of them. Since they die so fast i can't heal and can't score a great success. They do so little damage i have litteraly no one to heal. I can't even compete in terms of damage, all my damage spell have a long, long, casting time.

The dragons have a lot of HPs and don't do much. They sit there, sometimes they'll get a red circle around them to bump melee players, that's it. Stay at max range, hit it until it dies... There's nothing much to do but waiting for its painful and slow death. People take so little damage it's tricky to find a way to heal them and score for my great success. I do score a great success all the time on dragons but mostly because I run into red zones to be able to heal someone (yes, me), otherwise, no great success... Silly.

Great success don't bring anything but coins and I had quite a lot of them. I've been there for over 2h and only got coins and a couple of defense supplies. If it was a joke well it's not a funny one. The interesting stuff is gated behind a profession/AD wall with another RNG element inside. Randomness inside random loots you can buy with rewards from the RNG. I'm not going to make a yo dog meme but you get the picture...

As for me, I loved every single bit of it.
Non stop killing here and there, meeting and teaming with random people that you get acquainted to after a few fights... I really love it.
Well, of course, it can get repetitive. Everything does. But I totally can see myself playing it for the full duration of it, which is more than I can say of most events.
The rewards seem nice for an event. I think I'll get the bowgirl companion.

As far as the casual player that I am is concerned, the result is great : neat fun fights, a pleasant way to spend an hour or two, and that's what I'm looking for in a game.

On the 1st day things seemed to be going just fine....right up until everyone got a chance to figure out that all of the rewards for the Siege were garbage, unless you get uber-lucky with a companion/mount drop. But even those are sub-par to say the least and its doubtful many have gotten those as the path to get them is seriously convoluted. At the end of the 1st day most of the Siege instances were empty.....Day #2, empty!. I would venture a guess as to what they will be the rest of the week but I think we already know the answer to that. C'mon guys if you really want to get people interested in the events then give us something to get interested in. Not a difficult notion.

The worst thing is that is so HAMSTER. I duo'd a dragon for 18 minutes and my great success got me 30 dragon cult insignia's. Then I did one encounter rotation in the cult invasion and got 20 insignia's. As per usual - no rewards for effort. Oh and of course it's another CW event. All events now seem to be check it out and then abandon it because it's not worth the time and effort.

The only thing wrong with this event is RNG.

The RNG drives people away.

The event itself and the rewards are great. The big issue is that the good rewards are locked behind RNG and most players have grown tired of the RNG some time ago.

The content is decent enough, the dragon and siege engine fights seem fine. The other kill x then boss fights are spoiled by excess people or enemies that are too weak, things die too fast.

After repeatedly only getting 20 or 30 of a farily useless currency I'm calling time. I'll get enough commendations for the archer which looks pretty good visually and enough medals via crafting to roll the dice on the defenders pack once, maybe twice. That'll do, better than nothing.

Way to stand by your man Ambi :)

The horn is not as 'cool' I guess you'd say as the lucky coin, pocket pet, dohicky, etc. I guess you can't have a 'new thing worth having' every time. And that's fine. But don't offer up something that is *clearly* worthless. That's just lazy. Same deal with the new enchant. It is, clearly, worthless.

Of course, you can't have something that easy to get compete with the Dragon Hoard ( costly ) enchant. But..... why offer *garbage* as a reward? Just don't offer an event enchant. There was no event enchant for the summer festival. Why have a sub par enchant for this?

Instead of offering up a dozen worthless items that people will care little about, why not offer up a couple of things that are worth having? The black horse is an rng drop. *Shrug* A *wounded* horse, that perhaps galloped with a limp ( and you know, looked like it should be going at green speed.... ) would have been worth grinding for 7 days.

I'd like to see an event that had 1 currency, and simply make items cost different amounts of said currency. Offer BtA versions for reasonable prices, and BoE versions for substantially more.

Just... ignore the events. The old saw goes 'if we build it, they will come', and to that this particular company has added "and spend money for zen".

But, none of the 'rewards' offered up in the last few events have been particularly compelling. The fashion outfits are, at least in my opinion, inferior to the sets already available from icewind dale. The mounts were green quality, and thus, no better than a 5gp starter mount. The horn is inferior to every other event belt slot item released thus far. And the top end item being another rng chance at something ( um... show of hands, who got a peridot from the refiners cache... ) is just... lame.

This is no different than the gond event. If you're willing to grind 24/7, and you get lucky, you get an rng pack. Gond's mount was purple. This event's companion is purple.

You have little chance of getting either.

But, hey, Cryptic. No worries. Most of your player base can't seem to figure out how deeply you're shoveling it these days. Ahem. Sorry, I meant to say 'how you're setting up the rng'.

Yeah the second event in a row set up by Lindsay 'Corporate Commander' Haven that to stand any realistic chance of getting anything decent you have to spend zen , Doohikey event I think it was worked out that to grind a doohikey you would literally have to play 24/7 for the duration of the event and this event once again , unless you only want one or two chances at a RNG roll for a epic pet you have to spend zen or set up dozens of alts, getting tired of this HAMSTER.

I personally don't mind the HE focused event , I just wish the rewards were more varied , atm 95% of the time all you get is the 20 or 30 coins depending on how well you do.

I am just going to grind, get all the fashion items I can, then auction them off in a few week when the supply is low. That's about it. I sick of these RNG boxes! I would PAY Zen for a Drake mount, but I am not going to spend $50.00 plus on keys just for the CHANCE to get one. Nope, I am not a moron. The event in itself is really cool! Bravo on that. I love the Crafting part of it, finally a way to get rid of the 300 Gold I have lying around. But, the Coins/Medals rewards are...terrible other than the fashion! I love pants, and the Battle Medic pants are wonderful!

-Edit-

So I don't sound like I am just ranting here is some actual feedback on the Event:
1. Heroic Encounters- Seriously these are FUN! I think a 10-person limit is enough, and maybe make two encounter pop-up at once to there is a real decision the player has to make. Stay here and help save the injured, or go kill the dragon before it assaults the base. Also maybe like some Faction HP? Like in Gautletgyrm? Where killing the NPC actually matters, so they are not just useless fodder. So you actually have to position yourself strategically.
2. Crafting- This is great as well! I would have like the ability to maybe earn an extra profession asset with the coins. I have a job, so participating in the HE part is rather hard, but I can do the professions easy! But, that 7hr time limit hurts. Just one more asset with a 2 max cap would make it so much more worth it.
3. Currency- Ummm this is one of my biggest issues. One, I have done about 50+ HE in the event and gotten 1 Medal of Honor...seriously? I even did one event (Save the medics) all by myself and just got 30 coins...that, was just so disappointing. Maybe have some Trade up where 1000coins=1 Medal?
4. Rewards- Dragon Glyphs? Why? Only Black Ice armor can use those...to my knowledge, and the RNF box is just...why no stop these! The lock boxes are fine...but not on Events.

Other then those suggestions and complaints, it was a great event!

What is up with the frakkin cool down times? I did it day one on my 3 toons, got a 6 hr cool down after first trip. After the 6 hrs, I did it again and got 16 hr cool down. Did it earlier and got a freaking 22 hr cool down. WTF is that about? Only want us to be able to buy one item or maybe 2?
Say what?!?!

I'd like to see events go away from RNG and more to Assured Rewards.

Also, please do away with multiple currencies and unify them into a single currency, making everything the Event has to reward be available in the Event's Vendor with the same currency. Better yet, do like CTAs do and make ALL Events use these same Medals so our previous Event Fun can be applied to future and re-occuring Events!

Furthermore, for the love of Mystryl (or Mystra or whatever power you believe in), please do not make reward currency decay after X-amount of time ever again like what was done to Winter and Summer events!

RNG is killing my enjoyment of these otherwise wonderfully designed Events!

Daily Quests, including those from Events, generally reset at the same time everyday at 3:00am PDT. So, depending on when you completed a Daily Quest, the "cooldown" time displayed will differ from day to day but will always conclude at the same time. Keep in mind, we have seen some events with shorter and longer repeat times. Generally, they are on a 24 hour timer, from 3:00:00am PDT to 2:59:59am PDT. However, some events do not follow the daily reset and are on individual timers.

I'm a little confused - the news article says there are 2 new zones, but I've only found the one. Is there something I'm missing?

From the news article: "The new event brings the brand new Siege Battlefield and Enemy Lines event zones."

And

"Additionally, Siege of Neverwinter will bring a variety of Heroic Encounters in the two new zones."

The new event is awful .

Another DPS oriented event with awful rewards the only one this worth is the 7 day pack but after i spend 5 min in this event i realised Cryptic is DPS oriented no rewards for DC / TR / GF nice job .
I can't agree with this. My GF and DC have had multiple Great Successes. most notably in the Catapult event. Both are LV 60 around 13K GS. My DC runs heals for the dragons and dps ( CoBL and DL) for the Cult Assaults. The GF just tries to keep the dragons stationary (no spinning). I can't speak to TRs. Maybe Ive been lucky to have been on moderately populated instances?

I really like the Medic fashion and will probably get some of the glyphs and injured fashion for resale.
The BoP Archer looks good but I already have an account wide Stormrider archer with 3 offense slots and don't need another.

As far as Im concerned the event rocks. Most everything is BoE with a few things even BoA. This alone makes the event a huge win, and needs more support if we wish to see more of this.

I also like how there are many ways to get the various event goodies. You can earn easy daily rewards, farm for coins, convert daily rewards for coins, farm for rare drops, craft for a chance for rare drops, or simply buy the stuff on the AH. And the prices for most of this, are fairly reasonable and very alt friendly. All in all, I can find little to complain about.

Maybe I should elaborate more. Day one: I did the event on my main toon and once done, got a 6 hr cool down. I did that around 5pm EST(3 hrs behind the PDS zone). I logged back in after the 6 hrs and did the event on all 3 of my toons. I got a 12 hr cool down after that. I logged in on Friday around 1pm EST and did the event again on all 3 of my toons. Got the 16 hr cool down. Had insomnia so I did the event around 8am EST on Saturday and got the 22 hrs and so many minutes cool down on all 3 toons. Thank you for your standard reply that does little to answer the problem. Just what is the cool down for THIS event? The standard time of 3pm and 2:59am doesn't apply here. Why would I get 4 different cool down times? Anyone else having this issue? This will keep me from getting anything beyond the archer companion. And now, why do I get the message to strengthen my post by 10 characters twice now?
