My main worry is how are we supposed to refine all this ? the cost of refining right now on live is rediculas so adding more things to refine will just make it that more expensive will there be a better way to refine because right now im not to sure i like the idea.
As for stats it's still on test shard and everything is subject to change so i wouldn't complain saying OP when this might not be there final stats.

If no one complains about OP then they might assume that everyone is fine with it.

They max at 60 instead of 100. Getting an artifact to level 60 is reasonable.

You have a good point however with the inflation in new Warlocks coming with Module 4 ( Myself included ) it will cost alot with all the new artifacts you have to refine on them alone so adding more weapons/belts you can refine to level up will just make prices on the AH go up way way more then they are now.

You cant compare artifact weapons/belts with normal artifacts. A purple weapon/belt artifact at Level 35 needs 56k Rps to level up 36. 56k Rps you need for an Level 72 normal Artifact to Level up.
I estimate you will need around 2.000.000 RPs to Legendary.

Honestly I would appreciate if the focus would lay on more new areas instead of gear. More towns, more lore, more landscape...
The more 'special' gear is introduced, the more I get the impression that all this is just a chaep way to make easy money because ppl need them to stay competitive in PvP.
Suggestions to improve NW:
- Dualspec
- Better rewarding foundry and foundry pvp maps
- Custom PvP leagues with leaderboards instead of the current 'matchmaking'.
- Armory
- make jumping cost stamina (to reduce hopping in pvp)

That probably isn't the same RP than using enchantments, maybe it's something different because 56k RP for epic is close to nothing, perhaps something new that we have to farm? However, I hope I'm wrong about this lol.

just for more info in case anyone may have missed it :
weapons artifact is the last level of the campaign, which must take almost one month to be completed (no serious info here nevertheless).
I am by the way worried about that : "one of the three weapon" so if these weapons are BoP (which seems the more logical), and if you don't get the weapon you want, you will have to grind again until you find the right one....

This is an important(-ish) thing. I'm willing to bet it'll follow the same pattern as the campaign treasures coffer you can get from invoking; you crack open the basic chest, and it gives you the choice of the things inside.

Oh lord, I really hope they either make them BoE so they can be traded or make it a BoP choice like T1/T2 set pieces in the DD chest.
I sure hope the way we level these artifact weapons are unique and creative, something that doesn't have anything to do with refining them like enchantments and regular artifacts.
But so far, wow. It's about d*mn time we got some REAL weapons. More effects to build our characters on.

*2h artifact (CW, DC, GWF, SW, archery HR)
*2h epic (melee HR)
(I'm using 1h/2h in a loose sense for how base damage works.)

The epic versions are also viable and better than most of other weapons. To refine it to epic is really easy to obtain.
Offhands will follow, i am sure. And u dont need a two pieces set bonus when u got legendary weapon and maybe offhand artifact.
