The more the game gets broken the smaller PvP will get, there is NO CHANCE IN HELL that there will be match-making, there will never be enough people to do it, because Neverwinter is in a vicious unending cycle. They need to remove/alter all those items (unlikely), balance classes (more unlikely), Then we have to wait for people to PvP again.
The sad thing is, the more people who use drains the more people stop PvPing. Whenever I forget to equip my wards and get drained, I get so angry at the game. Even though I can equip them and counter it, just knowing this person is draining other players and ruining their experience annoys me too much. That's why I rarely PvP anymore, even though I main a GF and have trans fey/neg etc. PvP is just a hollow experience now. It's a real shame because I find the siege map a ton of fun, it's like gazing upon a beautiful sculpture made of sh*t.

HYPOcrisy from trololute, and those guilds. When they do the pug queue they are fine to fight with the ambushers-drainers teamates. YOU punish only when they are enemies>? 1st match: trololute with two teamates with drains and ambush. they come down and play. 2nd match eoa with 4 ambushers drainers teamates he comes down and play. LAST TIME a guy with name icyfish -icydrake said about honor. WELL you have -100% honor. i left the pt 30 minutes penalty than to fight your honored team. MY guild when queue for pvp make sure always enemies will not expierence drains- or ambush rings. i mean even if a random wear a drain 1 we make sure enemy using wards level 1 otherwise he remove it or we dont play.
troll me kill me make mob(stamina drain ) but i will never drain you will not fall to your low level.
A great example : 3 of members have guild rule no drains nice. the two others drain stamina and the other three get free kills. where is the logic in that?
by Kweassa: "Impossible? Most PvP communities in most games all have their 'inner demons' in one way or another, and many of them are self regulated by the community. The respected members of those communities EARN their respect through example. That's why they're respected in the first place. No, they cannot stop individual jacka$$es from using those stuff, but they've at least got the common sense to try and form a solid consensus that using such a thing is a shameful display, and would be promptly boycotted in high-level PvP bouts and matches. Does it work? Not always. But sometimes it does. "
Thats something missing in NWO PVP, wich I could not understand from the first moment. Noone cared one second about a codex or selfregulation etc. NWO-PVP= wild west PVP The moment where it seems to be too late, a lot of people got it, but some go on behaving like idiots.

There is no honor in PvP
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.
The main difference between this game and others MMOs, even free ones, is the fact that, when community agrees that "XXXX" is broken, devs fix that "XXXX" HAMSTER ASAP. Best example here?? Bubbledins. Suffering them since release (mod 6) yet they will not be fixed even on upcoming mod (mod 9)...
If this company doesn't have the "minimum" manpower to handle and make those fixes, then, maybe, they should release the source code of this game into a private GIT server and allow certaing volunteers to check the source code itself. I'm pretty sure that more than one will volunteer to do so (myself included) .
sure that´s a big point, right, in the end it´s their epic failure not getting anything done about this c.rap, instead we get new c.rappy cub companions
It's good that some guilds refuse to play with those broken stuff. It makes some balance and hold the game to not sink. Now let's do this, 100% of players use ambush and drains, how long this game last?

On ambush rings: "How would you like PVE if all the mobs were invisible?"
I joined NWO due to PVP. I have been playing my HR for a little over a year and he is the only toon I have. I am IL 3.4 and have ground out everything I have from pure negation to transvorpal i still have orange arties as well as rank 10 and 11 enchants due no pay to play here. There are some players from large guilds that have earned the High end boons and I can barley scratch them and I congrats to them when they win the match they earned there place in game . I get frustrated and aggravated same as others but never do I complain or be judgmental about what is happening in PVP. I adapt to what ever changes occur with each Mod and figure out how to maximize my performance and survivability. My guild doesn't have drain wards yet so to compete I ground out a ambush ring. Now I still play the same as before my ring replaces the drain of my forest ghost. Why should I toss my ring because of others opinions? I still play almost same as before. I am able to be hit for 2 seconds until ring starts. With FG it was right away so I am not even to where I was before. I do have a code I follow, I wont stomp newbies and believe in GG and I do thank every one for a good game team mates as well as competitors. So I will keep my ring thank you as well as my ring of brutality Ara
Some people think concepts like 'honor in PvP' and self-regulation are HAMSTER undeserving of consideration, let alone a discussion. I have to respect that opinion, but I'll ignore those people for a minute. What I find interesting among the others - those who are ok (ish) with the concept, is the split between what they'll do personally and what they'll do to try and influence others. In theory, if everyone did the right thing on their own, there'd be nobody left to coerce, but since that isn't going to happen, what's the problem with some gentle influence to try and steer someone towards voluntary compliance?
Game designers will always struggle with an attempt to try and 'balance' the experience for people who approach a game completely differently; I don't think it's fair to blame the designers for that (though I do blame them for being so slow to respond to things that are clearly broken - different story). 1 guy is a casual player who logs in now and then and just likes to pug PvP, another guy plays more often and bought his way to bis glory, a third guy refuses to spend a dime but grinds like whoa and achieves stardom thru brute force and 1337 drops: how do you make a game balanced for those 3 guys, each of whom feels like he's playing the game 'the right way'?
Thanks to those of you who took time to explain not just your thoughts, but a little of the backstory that influenced them.
