Your Anvil does 40K damage to squishies. Go fix that first OK? How about Griffon? You can perma CC a CW to death.
Leave them as they are, you can Block them.
As I said numerous times, Reds are no longer OP. You can hit as low as 30 damage with them. A CW has NO RELEVANT DAMAGE without Reds at this point.
Glyphs were OP in the past. This is no longer the case. Slap on Knee Breaker or something and use them too.
I am not an op GF, i play a destro gwf in pvp. For to take off my weapon enchant to sell it so to make it a bit more fair in pvp with no enchant i bought a lesser red and tested it along with one corrupted bi enchant on second slot.
Dunno if it procs from deep gash, but first impression is it melts stuff pretty quick with good base DRI. And i'm not even a warlock or a HR or a CW. Cws are getting some buffs, i do prefer real fixes to all classes and <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> glyphs with icd.
I agree that glyphs are less effective now, I haven't had no where near as much trouble from people using these as i had before when i could flick another guardian and get 50k dmg in 5 seconds.
But as for the people saying about gf anvil you must understand something. It is maybe a bit too powerful sure but not every build can do this. The reason is high STR and STR belt mixed with perfect vorpal, high power, crit and armor pen so not every build or player can achieve this at all. Btw not saying that a gf should be able to do that, just saying, you need to dedicate your char to crazy dps and have a nearly maxed char to do it, Plus each char has there own version of anvil :P

Crixus, it is this type of GFs you fight against in premades. Nobody comes with half-baked build, or pays dearly if they do. Thing is, one shouldn't complain about glyphs anymore. They seem to be a bit OP on HR (but the whole class is anyway), and as for the SW, just no, SW is weak in general in PvP. If one lets SWs and CWs freecast on them, they should pay the price, as all that is needed is one good GF/GWF/HR that hunts these casters down and they are at 25% efficiency.
The damage is fake, any other attack would whipe the rest of a squishies hp anyway, it shows 40k because the skill deals 2x dmg on targets with low hp. Mages should not survive such an attack, they are wearing CLOTH, not plate.
The skill is more designed towards plate vs plate and/or plate vs scale. (squishies die anyway)

I have said several times i would like icey reys and ray of frost to go through gf block again, if the dmg was not how it used to be though, getting hit 5-7k with that even through guard wasn't fun lol But now if that was changed back to affect us through guard it would be more balanced and something i would be happy with. After we discussed this in the guild (as in both GFs and CWs), what everyone came to agree was that Icy Rays should stay as it is (GF able to block), but Chill should go through Block, however at a slightly reduced speed (this would need to be tested), so the CW ends up having something to defend themselves with and an opportunity to land a CC. CW without CC=dead CW.
The situation in 1vs1s was balanced before changes to block. What our GFs disliked was the ability of bad low GS CWs to spam RoF on them and still freeze them, as in 2vs1 situations. 1vs1 GFcsCW was OK before the changes to Block, as no sane GF would turtle and wait for the Chill to stack to 6 so they freeze, and there are ways to get yourself out of Icy Rays if the CW is relatively close.

Now, how am I a hypocrite? When mod4 was coming out I didn't agree with the huge dps overload for the gfs. I reported about what terrifying impact those. An yes I can one rotation people, but so can gwf/cw/hr/sw...sometimes. It is not like I hit that hard and i am also tanky. I am not tanky one bit. Deflection dicks griffons wrath because you can deflect the stun duration and if that happens the person can escape before the next griffon.

Your real issues are not glyphs.
Your real issues are:
- HRs
- being CCed by somebody and burned by people that probably have glyphs

For the first case, you should probably focus on the HR class instead on an item that happens to be used by other classes as well. HRs make the game worse for all classes at this point, but since mod 5 is soon to come out with all the class balancing, we should just wait and see.
For the second case, it is about failing to Block when needed and dying in 1vsX situations. Which you should, as you are outnumbered and outgunned. Other classes suffer from this as well - I might get one rotationed with Shield on Mastery and full pots if some CW Entangles me, because if they are in voicechat the HR/GF/GWF will know I am CCed and unload other CCs and nukes on me while I am fully helpless.
But should you survive when outnumbered? I don't think so.
It's pretty much what I use. You won't beat great GFs with this rotation though, because they can exploit the CW dodge. You wait for them to dodge and immediately throw CC after, and it's a 100% chance of succeeding, as there's a small period in which the CW cannot do anything after dodging.
As for average GFs, nobody cares, I can kill those all day long.

I do not agree about red glyphs not being a problem now. I notice the difference quite a lot when fighting HRs/ SWs/CWs with and without them.
When they are not slotting greater reds, i can fight back and even if i lose, it's usually a fair fight.
When you meet a HR (more then the others) SW or CW using them, you see people, and yourself, melting a lot faster.
Should have internal cooldown and solve balance between classes through feats/ powers changes. Not through enchants working better on some classes... Plus the DPS in PvP already went thorugh the roof, it's a DPS race now. We don't need more damage...we need more tactic and skill in PvP...
If you hold the shield up cw can't really do anything. Ray of enfeeblement isn't going to do a lot to a guy with good hp. So his options are run away or try to get to the other side of you to land a cc. That's it. Do something semi suicidal or leave. I guess he must be stupid for those being his choices lol.

You see, the devs don't seem to slow down AT ALL, rather they keep putting in more and more gear, more and more Power, to the point where people can 2-3 shot each other.
All this while removing the Aimed abilities and replacing with AoEs or point&click and DoTs&procs.
Piercing blade is getting fixed in module 5 so GF will arguably be the best class. HR will still have the healing madness but we won't hit hard.
(And no, TR will not the best class even after buff, they are not threatening at all, even the perma-daze, and this is coming from an HR that has no CC escape).

You don't need CC escape with 50% deflect.....cause you are never cc.Deflect reduces stun duration.Wear a greater elven and as a HR you would be 65-75% CC resist.lol.Not to ever mention the other gear that gives cc ressist.Artifacts ,sets etc.
As for GF he will be complete obsolete in mod5.Defence is irrelevant after mod4 and onwards.All classes have such high dps arm pen and ways to bypass defence ,that now defence makes little difference.

Days ago i wrote that were only 17 GF in first 50 pages.5 days later the situation has deteriorated.
from these 17 half of them don't play pvp anymore in order not to lose thier rank.They were the glyph reflect builds.
GF is hopeless against the current top melee class HR.Fox shift is buggy and sometimes(most) penetrates block.Boar charge goes through Villan's Meance(confirmed) and after time Gf gets proned his block comes to use after a delay .It was always buggy.
HRs are in abandon and while Cw can fights them in range ,poor Gf must get close and get stunned and doted to death.

Why should a GF not be able to 1 rotation kill at least 2 other classes? As I see it there are GFs out there that can be 1 rotation killed given good play style and appropriate gear.

You already have HUGE damage. My encounters hit for almost nothing, and my DoTs and procs got nerfed BADLY in Mod 5. Some casting speed won't really help if I hit for 5K and the opponent hits for 20k.
As much as I hated glyphs in the past (to the point I didn't PvP until they got nerfed and posted a lot against them), my opinion changed, as my CW depends on them to be semi-relevant. My CW doesn't have lots of deflect either and gets burned by HRs and dies fast once CCed, yet if this is what it takes for me to have decent damage, fine, I will take it.
I would GLADLY see all the procs and DoTs gone - but give me back my encounter damage. Give a 30K finisher as well and other 15k+ encounters with charges.

When they are not slotting greater reds, i can fight back and even if i lose, it's usually a fair fight.
When you meet a HR (more then the others) SW or CW using them, you see people, and yourself, melting a lot faster.
Should have internal cooldown and solve balance between classes through feats/ powers changes. Not through enchants working better on some classes... Plus the DPS in PvP already went thorugh the roof, it's a DPS race now. We don't need more damage...we need more tactic and skill in PvP...

You see, the devs don't seem to slow down AT ALL, rather they keep putting in more and more gear, more and more Power, to the point where people can 2-3 shot each other.
All this while removing the Aimed abilities and replacing with AoEs or point&click and DoTs&procs.
(And no, TR will not the best class even after buff, they are not threatening at all, even the perma-daze, and this is coming from an HR that has no CC escape).

You don't need CC escape with 50% deflect.....cause you are never cc.Deflect reduces stun duration.Wear a greater elven and as a HR you would be 65-75% CC resist.lol.Not to ever mention the other gear that gives cc ressist.Artifacts ,sets etc.
As for GF he will be complete obsolete in mod5.Defence is irrelevant after mod4 and onwards.All classes have such high dps arm pen and ways to bypass defence ,that now defence makes little difference.
Proof?while in mod3 purified was the bis gear for all classes now corrupted has by 90% replaced it.
GF as a class relies only in defence(that can be mitigated).Has the lowest deflect by all melee classes and his cc mechanism(block) cannot cover him from all angles.A cw just needs to dodge in an 40 ancle and press icy rays while GF fights another toon.Game over.

Days ago i wrote that were only 17 GF in first 50 pages.5 days later the situation has deteriorated.
from these 17 half of them don't play pvp anymore in order not to lose thier rank.They were the glyph reflect builds.
GF is hopeless against the current top melee class HR.Fox shift is buggy and sometimes(most) penetrates block.Boar charge goes through Villan's Meance(confirmed) and after time Gf gets proned his block comes to use after a delay .It was always buggy.
HRs are in abandon and while Cw can fights them in range ,poor Gf must get close and get stunned and doted to death.
Mod 5 and GF=Dead GF
Why is it OK that everyone should be able to beat a GF, but it is not OK if losing to a GF?
Why should a GF not be able to 1 rotation kill at least 2 other classes? As I see it there are GFs out there that can be 1 rotation killed given good play style and appropriate gear.
Just wondering, and expecting a nerf to come to PvE because of the rants in this thread.
Cauuse, even if possible, usually nerfs for PvP are also included in PvE (less implementing $ necessary, less testing $ necessary)
So you have an HR problem as I expected.
Do NOT break my already frail CW class because of your HR issues.
Go and ask for fixes to that class first OK?
gwf and trs deflect. Listen, mod 5 cws are getting faster cast time to must of their mainstream skills in pvp. Red glyphs have to go. Or blue dragon glyphs should know longer have an internal cool down. So it will fight against red dragon glyphs(Yes I know how bad blue dragon glyphs are). But that is what needs to be done.

You already have HUGE damage. My encounters hit for almost nothing, and my DoTs and procs got nerfed BADLY in Mod 5. Some casting speed won't really help if I hit for 5K and the opponent hits for 20k.
As much as I hated glyphs in the past (to the point I didn't PvP until they got nerfed and posted a lot against them), my opinion changed, as my CW depends on them to be semi-relevant. My CW doesn't have lots of deflect either and gets burned by HRs and dies fast once CCed, yet if this is what it takes for me to have decent damage, fine, I will take it.
I would GLADLY see all the procs and DoTs gone - but give me back my encounter damage. Give a 30K finisher as well and other 15k+ encounters with charges.
