I've spent hundreds of dollars on this game, and I don't have any characters higher than 14k gear score (most of my zen went towards dyes and clothes and cosmetic items). I started playing during the Closed Beta Weekend 1, where there were only three classes: trickster rogue, guardian fighter, and devoted cleric. Unlike you uber 1 percenters with your awesome 19k to 20k gear score, I actually have a life outside of Neverwinter, and I take a break from the game every few months or so so I don't get burned out and quit out of boredom. There is so much more to this game than increasing your e-peen score, such as socializing with other players and participating in a wide variety of player-organized events.

Play other game modes. Try your hand in roleplaying. Write a guide or three to show the lesser players how to get to where you are. Participate in the various special events for cosmetic items to make your toons stand out. Take a break from Neverwinter and come back in a few months so the game will feel fresh again and you actually have some goal or gear score to work towards. Seriously, what I'm hearing is, "I played Neverwinter too much and ran out of stuff to do." The solution? Stop playing and come back in a few months. It worked wonders for me.

Taking a break from Neverwinter indefinitely...

i know tr is in a bad position for pve, but that's not my fault, i would be happy if every class had a role to fullfill and every1 were requested but i don't see how is that related to the fact that pve is easy for every class, u can pick 4 tr and 1 dc and it will be slower, but still... u wont get any challenge.

    you couldnt be more wrong
pve is easy only when u stack 3 broken cw in every dungeon
how many can finish cn,vt,mc in rainbow party
even t2 would be a problem for most
if there was a rainbow rule it would fix pve to some extend so partys would have to take lesser geared people of each class like it or not

You like cosmetic stuff and role play, I like competitive stuff, if customization was bad on this game you could choose between say it on the forums or not, in my case I wanted to express how bad PvE is, deal with it.

However, I don't know why are you still speaking about some 19K or 20K dudes, I'm 13K with one character and 15K with another and I'm feeling that bored about the dungeons, cause again, from 14K you start to feel you did everything on this game...

Just tired about pvp, role play?, if you talk about that what some ppl do on the moon.

Yeah, I can do that, but I don't like it that much, maybe I could post some guides or builds, but I don't consider myself good enough to do that, in the case of role playing, I like to do that while I'm trying to maxing my character, why I can do both?, now the events aren't so attractive for me so I usually ignore them... About the break, I'm doing it, I don't play since MoD 3...

But the solution of "I played Neverwinter too much and ran out of stuff to do." could be adding a real High End Content like 100% of the MMORPG I've played, and not waiting months to have (maybe) a real High End Content.

The game doesn't revolve around you. The devs cannot simply focus on the 1% of 1% at your level at the expense of the other 99.99% of the player base.

Except that this game is still maturing and adding content. The game is barely a year old and already four modules have been added. Patience. What you seek will eventually come.

I know, I'm just sharing my point of view.

BTW, just check this Thread and you will find is more than 1%.

And like I said, it's not about 15K-20K players, is about anyone, the ppl who are gearing up, the ppl who want to put a step on a game who will feel dissapointed when he/she find out that there not challenge and the ppl who are thinking about leaving the game because of it, etc...

Like someone said, default equipment isn't unbalanced, the problem lies with enchantments, artifacts, and weapon/armor enchants.
If the devs care about balance this is what they should aim to change. make T1 or T2 have more difference than T2 with tank 1s and T2 with rank 10s.
I'd even say that they should half all the stat bonuses enchants give, so if a lv 1 enchant gives 40 power and lv 10 gives 400 power, now a lv 1 enchant gives 20 power and a lv 10 gives 200 power. (Which would make it equivalent of a rank 5, which is much more balanced with end game content)
That way those who have payed to have rank 10's will still have an advantage over those who haven't, but it won't be that much of a difference, giving others a chance too. And also making dungeons a bit more challenging.
Also they should do something about weapon/armor enchants (like vorpal or soulforged) and artifacts so they don't canuse so much unbalance too.

Ive seen this conversation before many, many, times. And not just in Neverwinter, Ive seen this EXACT topic hashed out in Champions and in Star Trek. Repeated, over and over and over again endlessly. Do you want to know what happened? Nothing. Not one single tiny insignificant bone was tossed towards the try-hards and those wanting more challenging content.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Over the course of 5 plus years and three games. Cryptic has done zip, zilch, nada, to change their basic design of casual friendly games. If you honestly think one more forum topic is going to change that, you are simply mistaken. This is not going to change, period.

So, if a casual friendly, fairly easy game is a complete deal breaker for you. You simply MUST understand, it is not going to change, not now, not ever. You can save, the anger, the disappointment, the grief, and the words, and do something more productive. Because this...all of this, is just a complete waste of time.

Thx for saying that, now I'm completely decided to leave this game.

Aaaaaand that's the ball game, people. When it turns into an "I quit" thread, then it's no longer in compliance with RoC.
