    I am getting the same error, I was on earlier today, but now I am unable, Cryptic needs to call people in. Sound like the connecting error from the login to the game server is having an issue.

    My Error 4 just cleared.
    I guess you guys just have to wait it out.

    I did some digging, try flushing your dns cache.

    run a command prompt and type in ipconfig /flushdns this seemed to do the trick for me.

    I had the same problem in UK, I switched to us proxy and it looks to be letting me in so far....

    Somewhat aggrovated ...

    Tired after a days work wanted to do the stupid race, first ofc i forgot it then i had to turn the PC on again to actually do it anddddd then ...

    INVALID VIEW ... The frak u dont need no view u dont need no patch just GTFO and leme go ingame >_<

    Same issue. Changed instances Disconnected me and now getting that error.

    Aarrgg. Same problems here. Connection with internet is strong. Game will not restart after crash.

    5 min later. run ipconfig /flushdns. 8899MB patch download

    Was having same problem not sure if they fixed it or not but enabling safe mode and restarting the launcher seems to have got me to having the file verify run anyways.

    Yeah me too. Weird. :mad:
    But what's even weirder (if that's a word) is that it has cleared itself while I wasn't looking. seems someone else has had this too. I guess just leave the error message to repaet until you get in is the way to go. :confused:

    I rebooted my PC after reading some people were getting in, and I was able to log in, if those two things are related or coincidence I can't say.

    I also tweeted this thread out to several STO contacts, to make sure they know.

    getting the same thing here (error 4), fleet told me it might be graphics related so ill post my immediate specs here just incase

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), -3.4GHz
    Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti - 4049 mb
    8192MB RAM
    1 TB Seagate HDD
    DirectX 11
    Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600)


    EDIT: nevermind, somehow it started working again, i didnt restart my pc or verify or replace my main STO files with a backup, it just.. worked.. (devs were quick o_o)

    oh and if it helps i was lagging really hard earlier so i logged out, when i tried logging back this happened, hope this helps the devs make sure it doesnt happen again.

    I was able to get back in around 3pm. Probably something on Cryptic's side.
