BUG: PvE 'Quick Play' Queue Displaying Private Match Names ***Fix is on Tribble***

    Cryptic I swear you are trolling me in the PvE queue titles...first '123'123 and now Pornstar's Game ... ????????? SERIOUSLY!!!???!?!?!?! The only normal ones are the 2 Vault events....

    When I just opened the PVE queue to do some missions for the marks event, I saw all of the names of the missions (Colony Invasion, etc...) re-write to be replaced by the title "Pornstar's Game", it happens in about a second after opening the queue/mission list. This is not being done through private sessions (it's the public queue) so it does not seem like it's a matter of a bunch of people having Pornstar before their @ or using that title for private matches all at once.

    STO probably needs to go down right now, because if someone is in the code and doing things like this, they will probably be tampering with more.

    Apologies if this is an overreaction, but I just noticed a couple minutes ago, and it seems like a quick reaction might be in order.

    It's just a bad filtering bug, where private queue instance names are erroneously displaying on the public queue instance lists. It's been a know issue for a few days. And given the maturity level of the internet in general; yeah I could see someone using "Pornstar" in a private instance title.

    They really do need to start rolling out actual patches to fix this kind of thing though. The sooner, the better.

    1 - it is a joke.

    I can only assume this is about the rather buxom women that STO has released as drawings? If so, then it's just a draw for mindless 12 year olds with a credit card.

    Other than that I haven't the faintest idea of what you may be referring.

    I would put this in a bug report but since it isn't working which is pretty lame. I figured I would report it here.

    PVE queues say pornstar's game instead of the correct title.

    According to several people in TTS this is not unusual as of late. Let's please get these SERIOUS flaws fixed in the game before adding new stuff.

    Yeah i saw that and even took screen shots. All of the queue Said Pornstar's Game. Now they seem to be changing to "ugand"

    Captains, it's just a display bug -- some private match names are showing up in the quick play tab. We're investigating and working on a resolution.

    Obvious hackers are obvious. They have most likely been patching the same file everyday to block hacking attempts. If anyone is a network engineer here can shed some light on the situation.

    Probably most likely they were getting DDSoed attacked on LoR launch day, or day after.

    Please do not take this with offense, as none is intended at all, but I'm not sure you know what you are talking about :) This is only a display bug where private queue names are displaying in the "quick play" tab. Similar to the bug where the ground/space filter is also bugged at the moment. The PvE queue as a whole is just a bit wonky right now and we're working on a resolution.

    Our server stability and network maintenance have been to address the queues players were experiencing, and to ensure that there was a smooth gaming experience in-game.

    found a temp fix, when you start seeing all the display messing up from the private queues, flip tot he private queues and back to the main PVE queues and it fixed for me.

    I think the PvE queue is messed up and it's including the names of private matches that people are making.

    It's certainly not part of the game.

    As print screen when they were all like that did not work, so had to use my camera.

    Yeah, the other day, they were all listed as "Mike's STF" or something like that. I don't know who Mike is, but he had all of the STFs that day.
