Extended Downtime on September 24th and 26th

Captains,

Extended downtime across all Cryptic titles will be held on the following dates:

Xbox and PS4: Tuesday, September 24 from 5am to 10am PDT. What time is this for me?

PC: Thursday, September 26 from 5am to 10am PDT. What time is this for me?

    Only if they are doing things which affect the gameplay. The maintenance isn't just for STO.

    please tell me this is something to help mitigate akamai's carp...though, ditching them would be the best solution​​

    Make a note: Normally the maintenance in question when it effects the the games as a whole ALWAYS take up to 3 hours longer than expected LOL :)

    And as an event is running when it does overrun there will be chants for an extra day to make up for those not able to do that day's run

    Indeed, this Tuesday maintenance means I not only lose tomorrow to make progress on the event, but also on Thursday. Not everyone has hours to spend on the game. At least not me, not anymore. I'll still have enough time to finish it, unless life throws me more curveballs. Which it has been wont to do of late.

    Things like this make hate this new event system more and more. Granted, Cryptic may be nice and extend the event by a day due to the extended downtime Thursday, but I know they will not extend it due to a "short" maintenance tomorrow.

    Oh well, it is what it is.

    This is a specific Cryptic games maintenance. Tuesdays are many times used for new season updates, expansions, and even for system-wide maintenance at times. In this case Tuesday is the first Cryptic games maintenance date for Xbox and PS4 and Thursday is the second one for PC users. These things have to be done with the servers all the time. It is to be expected when it comes to video games and servers. Thanks. :)

    Yeah, except they could've made it next week, since this one we're already loosing quite a good chunck of time. You're welcome. :)​​

    Ai giocatori dei primi due tipi, gratis in omaggio un bello specchio lucente su cui arrampicarsi. E una mazzata in testa per la loro poca intelligenza e compassione verso gli altri giocatori che non la pensano come loro.
    Agli appartenenti al terzo tipo, invece, dico grazie. Anche se non sempre si riesce a mantenere la calma, siete quelli per cui vale la pena incazzarsi.

    Seems to be the case for me too. I was booted off while docking at ESD. I had the engage screen with a greyed out engage button. I restarted the app the engage button it's normal yellow but after hitting the X button a server unavailable at this time message appears.

    We will be performing shard maintenance on September 26 from 5-11:00 AM Pacific (12:00-19:00 UTC). Please check the forums.

    Pacific is 6 hours, UTC is 7 hours. What's correct?
