My stand alone launcher switches between wanting to patch 103 MB and 9863 MB. The latter amounts to a download of nearly 7 GB. Is something wrong?

I just tried the standalone launcher again. I'm in Norway. The launcher got in touch with the servers on the first attempt. Now patching at 80 %, 90 %, aaand 100 %. I'm good to go, I hope.

In Windows, I enabled the stereo mix output device. I fired up Audacity and made it record the stereo mix output device. In STO, I set all sliders except Overall volume and Music volume to zero.
