1) Most kinetic weapons have travel time and they can get blown up in transit making them harder to use in pve and pvp. Energy weapons are just easier to set up and have more variety in builds. Wait what; when did they change the whole console stacking thing? I took two long breaks from the game and I swore that you had to juggle the weapon damage and the energy damage ones.
