5 minutes ago? Problems with the Loadout System have been going over 8 years now. I have posts early in the first page going that far back, it's the same stuff.

This happened to me once, yesterday, while doing Operation Wolf. I died, respawned and the UI did what you described, so things were awkward. Thankfully the TFO isn't hard and the issue fixed itself when I left the instance. I'll keep the workaround in mind if it happens again.

Continuing play with character S'aina. I am doing the mission Spoils of War. I do the initial Badlands space battle, then enter the ground phase of the mission at the True Way base. Completed the mission Stranded in Space. Upon returning to Sector Space, I see that my captain's armor and large shield charges were removed by the game and put into the inventory. The personal shield remained equipped just fine.

I was playing the mission Diplomatic Orders. I visit Vulcan, do my business there, and depart. I return to Sector Space, open my Inventory, and my captain's armor, personal shield, and large shield charges are sitting there again.

Happened again. I had done Wanted patrol, completed it, returned to ESD. I go to the Shipyard to sell off the junk and upon opening the inventory, I see my captain's armor, personal shield, and large shield charges sitting there again.

It's happened twice more where my captain's personal shield gets dumped into the inventory. Circumstances were similar, doing the same patrols out of ESD space, but on one of these occasions I beam to ESD itself and saw the shield unslotted. It has not happened again with the Elachi Walker Device so far.

I use my new Delta Recruit and get into Iuppiter Iratus instance this evening. The ship was acting funny, not doing stuff that it should be doing. When the instance is over I take a look, the traits were magically unslotted. This character / ship is not even using a Loadout, yet these problems are hitting me.

The system is so broken since Day 1 that it intrudes upon you even if you want nothing at all to do with it. When the system released years and years ago I did not bother with it at all, but there I was with my setup getting altered all the time.
