I have the Section 31 rifle in the Dilithium Reclaim Store, in the middle of the list. For some reason, it moves to the bottom of the list once I've claimed the first. I've never seen another item do that before, normally the button just gets greyed out.
The way things have gone for the RSE by the time you finish the Romulan part of the storyline, there's very few possible ways to make the more-or-less dead & gone RSE playable... except maybe an alternate universe RSE. Alternate Universes are pretty well-established in pretty much all Trek media and anything goes when…
The only way I could imagine a Cardassian faction that starts off allied with the Dominion working is if they're a Dominion War-era character sent to the future in some way or trapped in a time loop for decades. I think 2 of the 6 factions being time travellers from the past is already 1 more than we needed, though...
Well, you get a kevlar vest with the Terran Guerilla Combat Armor and Marta Okataya. So you can get something similar, at least. Though the former will probably not be in the Phoenix Box for a while.
Aside from not being at war with the Romulans, we don't know much about what the Federation got out of the Treaty of Algeron. We don't really know much about what the Romulans got, either. It's highly unlikely the only way they benefitted from it is preventing the Federation from designing or using Cloaking Devices.
A real warrior would also know that Honor Before Reason is more likely than not just going to get them killed, and that those most likely to win battles and have songs sung about their victories are the ones willing to use every advantage at their disposal. If winning means you need to do something the people writing those…
Considering Carriers aren't exactly known for being heavily armed battleships, I think most of the existing Carriers in the game could probably be considered "Supercarriers" to some extent.
I've had multiple ships with the same name before (admittedly through a bug) and the game has quite happily continued on without complaint, so it can apparently already handle name duplicates just fine. It probably wouldn't take anywhere near as much work as some other requests.
Apparently, it will be made a FCT when the Devs draw the line and put their foot down on the idea of the Borg being made playable. I guess it being "frequently created" isn't enough for it to be considered a Frequently Created Thread...
Isn't that how you normally use the "No offense" comment opening? Before saying something that will likely be taken as an insult, but when you don't intend to hurt the other persons feelings. Though when saying "you're an idiot", it's easy for it to sound more like sarcasm.
Yeah, the D.O.M.I.N.O. console came with the Denorios-class Bajoran Interceptor. Which should be in the Phoenix Pack, because I remember people complaining that the ship was in the Phoenix Pack but not the Warp Core.
Not really, the only playable Borg ships I need are Starfleet ships with a full set of Borg rep gear. Rather than playable Borg ships, I'd much prefer the reverse; the Borg in storyline missions and patrols (not STF's) having assimilated versions of playable ships from quadrent-accurate factions (Delta Quadrent ships in…
You'll probably get the Vizier Class on console around the same time they allow us to run old Winter/Summer/anniversary events that we missed or buy a T5/T6 Constitution Class in the C-Store.
Only the original Defiant used borrowed tech, no other Romulan Cloak was loaned to Starfleet after that and nothing in the game suggests the 25th century mass-produced Defiant Class uses anything other than a Starfleet-designed cloak. What's your source on the Galaxy-X? Because there's nothing in the game or lore to…
It's likely that the ships that come with the console by default are meant to be ones that were built with a cloaking device already in place, while cloak-compatible ships that don't come with the console are retrofitted after construction to give it a cloaking device at the captains request. Whether the latter is an…
I doubt they were intended to be training ships, given that the lore says they were apparently nothing more than an experiment to see if they could make ships of an old Class that are on par with their modern counterparts. Apparently being made on a whim, without any real purpose in mind. In other words, they were…
The similarities are obvious, but Starfleet ships usually have things in common like that. Sometimes the components have a common design style (Galaxy and Nebula), or they're arranged in a similar layout (Galaxy and Ambassador). The only truely unique Starfleet ship in canon is the Oberth, which has a component design and…
This sounds very familiar... the record is almost as broken as those missions were. Star Trek Online's specialty is covering the more violent side of Star Trek and the diplomacy stuff is not something they do well, which they should not be forced to do to the detriment of the game. They are 2 different sources, each with…
While still in the Discovery-era, I can claim the Europa, the Walker Prototype, the Jem'Hadar Vanguard ships and the 31st Century Temporal Ships. I don't have the new Edison Class, so I don't know if they forgot to make that useable in the pre-2409 parts or not.
