Banned because I got exactly what I wanted with the new skill trees and the big babies in the forums can't see the brilliance of Cryptic giving me what I want.
Maybe I'm misreading this, but the older, creakier Champions Online engine allows you to putz about in the Power House to make sure you're getting what you want with no penalty to redo until you leave. Why not this?
I only use dilithium to buy admirality ships because everything else it's used for seems like a massive waste of time and effort. If I could trade it off for EC, I would.
Well, maybe for the half dozen Trekelitists subbed to the game at the time. Cryptic's current accountants would probably disagree while lighting cigars with the microtransaction money.
I believe this is incorrect. All star ships travel at The Speed of Plot. Which is why Jim Kirk can be on opposite ends of the Federation between episodes. I think of our sector space speed as what's happening while the commercials play.
I have a feeling that you lack faith of the heart. Allow me to go find my acoustic guitar and sing a song of hope and inspiration to you. I'll be back soon...
I read that as "Big stuff in THE store" and was like, "What else is new?" My hope is that 1) Skill trees and specializations get merged because they do the same thing. 2) A number of more missions in the AQ because that part of the map is way underutilized. 4) A Tovan Kev for every faction. They were triplets split up at…
I found the BoP you buy with dilithium pretty effective. If the Vo'qov wasn't made of tinfoil and turned like a shopping cart I'd use it all of the time. But *no* pet in the game is as dumb as a bridge officer in Kobali ground. None.
Banned for not knowing the intimate details of a complete stranger. I makes mah money in South Korea. One of PWE's "evil" nations. I only play the game when I'm back on this side of the globe
If the game had as much meat to it* as the MMO I did get a sub to (LoTRO) then I'd say yes to buying expansions and the like. But since Cryptic specializes in Done-In-A-Month games I could never see it being worth the cost. This shortness is also why I never opened my wallet for the micro transactions. Why buy an…
Stunning people and disabling ships *is* a mechanic in the game. Guess as to why it rarely gets used 1: It leaves too many items on the map for the game to keep track of for an engine that once had lag issues due to coyotes in a desert(Champs). Guess as to why it rarely gets used 2: Human beings are barely evolved from the…
Less military is good. It really needs to be scaled back before the franchise loses the humanism that made it worthwhile in the first place and becomes as dumb and jingoistic as a Michael Bay movie. Hah! Just kidding! I watched Into Darkness. I know the cows left that barn sometime between Mini-Picard and the first…
