The Tal'Diann extends our gratitude to all who took part in the celebration, whether here in the STO Romulan forum or in-game. We were unfortunately unable to supply participants with a cute little Nanov pet, but we hope our games/contests and prizes helped to ameliorate the lack of an official event this year, and we hope…
Whine whine whine whine whine. What are you, Feds demanding that Cryptic give you everything? Perhaps you should take a moment and wonder that maybe, just maybe, the Romulans in the future might have really good reasons for it that you aren't privy to, being that, you know, it hasn't happened yet?
A Romulan ship that doesn't look like a bird......? Surely you're joking? It sort of their schtick. Just like the Federation's schtick is spoons equipped with bipods.
Exactly. Last year, on at least a dozen occasions, I was first. Yet it doesn't matter, someone can cross the finish line last, and if the others overshot, or were slow on the f button, then they are the ones SOL.
How about the Romulans get to be a real faction first, huh? And get parity with the Federation in all respects (such as number of ships, Academy, starbases, etc.). And then give some attention to the KDF. (Who badly need updates to some of their maps, esp. First City, as well as new ships, and anything else KDF players…
Gonna have to say this is a really poor idea, unless something is changed to prevent griefing. I'd be willing to support it if snowballs could not be used to disrupt people's gameplay. Barring that, this thread is just a place for trolls to ask for their griefing tools back, and at the same time get in shots at all the…
1. Sela's contribution is outweighed by her own crimes, not to mention it was her idiocy that destroyed Romulus. 2. The Republic never stopped being at war with the RSE. Also, the Klingons really HATE the RSE, just as much as the Republic. I have no doubt the Klinks would hesitate to help deal a death blow to that enemy.…
As long as that karma Houdini named Sela gets put down (in a non-heroic manner), then I'm fine. Although, honestly, I think the Republic would be the only faction that could (re)claim RSE space without breaking the Alliance. Neither the Klingons not the Federation want to see the other claim all that territory.
I seriously doubt she had someone with the ability to rule in her stead. Totalitarian governments with a strong head of state rarely have someone in the structure with the ability to rule in the leader's abscence. The same pattern is repeated over and over, from Napoleon (who was famous for manipulatin his marshals to keep…
Seriously.....I'm in a kilometer long space battleship with armor and powerful energy shielding. The only reason I can think of to stop, say, triggering the power transfer in Mirror Invasion is that my ops officer has a nervous condition and pees himself whenever we take a hit to the shields.
Yestereve, the Tal'Diann, with a few allied guests from the Imperial Union of Planets and elsewhere within the RRF, observed the traditional Romulan and Reman holidays of Eitreih'orheika, Eitreih'Aylhr, u'Eitreih'Qiuu'n on Risa, south of the Promenade at the Suraya Bay Resort. The affair was cozy, a smaller crowd than was…
See, the Sundering is canon as far as this game we all play is concerned. Screaming about it being non-canonical is what is pointless. Both path to 2409, and Legacy of Romulus make direct references to both the source material that describes the Sundering, and to what happened, such as generation ships transporting…
Worst: Older Fed Ships, like the Galaxy, Excelsior, etc. and the Klingon CBCs. Best: Newer Fed and Romulan ships in general, but particularly the Scryer, Avenger, Aelahl, and Faeht. Also the Qib. In general, a lot of the KDF ships look meh to me. Too much clutter and odd angles. The newer Fed ships look pretty great across…
Actually, the hangars at the rear, either side of the impulse engines, would be the recovery area. The side ones would likely be for frigates, if we get them. Also shuttles and runabouts. The fighters are the ones coming form the middle front hangar.
I'm going to say two things. 1. The simplest explanation IS that Romulans and Klingons had an alliance, trading technology for ships. Dancing around the edges just to avoid making that leap, while not wrong, is the more complex route. 2. Why are we talking about this again?
