Found the issue. I'd suggest getting on the PC the rewards for lifetime are so much better. The consoles while having millions of players, are not a great place for this game because not enough players play the console while the pc players are endless. Playing the Red Alert Borg and Red Alert Tholian works well for me on…
Very much needed. The Borg set is sadly lacking even the non-borg sets inside the borg rep are terribly weak compared to the latest ones. I'd also suggest making a universal console available for tier 6 completion of reputations. It would be nice to have consoles that help with damage or enhance the weapons themselves. For…
So no one is talking about the mechanics of the DLC system here in STO, what we are talking about is the tendency for CBS to attempt to keep the show in the minds of the people who love Star Trek not because it's a normal marketing practice, but because they know that fans of Star Trek will not remember or get excited…
Nemesis had more edge than TRIBBLE, that doesn't mean TRIBBLE is great, that just means they are trying to use the only thing they understand at CBS to make something popular. Eventually, the "edge" will become boring which will then reveal TRIBBLE for what it really is, empty, trash tv with no substance. Sadly, I fear…
Including Star Trek in TRIBBLE is like claiming that Farscape is about Star Wars, It's just not Star Wars is it. Same goes for TRIBBLE, TRIBBLE is just some trash scifi show that happens to have star trek names in it somewhere, it has exactly 0 substance that would make it star trek.
Exactly, why enter a scifi show that has nothing to do with trek outside of the names, 0 substance, they couldn't even get the phasers right, instead fix the bugs that have been there since beta, work on what Star Trek really should be which is exploration. There are plenty of examples from other space games out there on…
Completely agree. Sadly I think the same people who tried to pass off TRIBBLE as real star trek got ahold of this IP and simply does not understand what the main theme of Star Trek is.
Not if you like playing a doctor, ships dedicated to healing and saving ships are a thing in the 25th century and it's fun to build a ship that has the ability to keep everyone alive.
I play exclusively DoT builds on my science and engineer ships, I've specialized one of my layouts and ships to be all radiation damage which bypasses shields. The only time my torps don't hit multiple targets is when I don't use a skill to enhance that shot like Torp Spread. I also use the Particle Emission Plasma Torpedo…
Thanks for that info! Once again Google failed to deliver but that seems to be par for the course when you silence websites you don't like. I'm glad they are considering it. I wouldn't mind having several skins to use for the Federation Chimeara ship! They'd have to change the console's animations a bit for the TOS style…
Uhm no to those who keep saying it's for all specializations I would say no. They could easily lock it behind commendations making you a real chief medical officer. PVPers generally pay no attention to commendations as I recall.
I am enjoying the hell out of this one! They did a great job imo. People are saying it's hardly any content but I say to those people that they basically rushed through all of the dialogue. I love love love the story! It's filled with intrigue and drama the good kind! Built upon the actual skills attitudes and…
For some reason I thought this post was going to be about something else entirely from the title. My brain went to a bad place and imagined a captain that was a terribly offensive french stereotype complete with waxed thin black villain mustache, an elongated cigarette in one hand, and a wine glass in the other hand. Can…
My thoughts precisely. I propose that if they offer a system like that it locks out others so that people can't abuse it. Doctors have the ability to stun longer and heal better so ground abilities would be adjusted of course to fit that role. This specialization could be locked so that certain others could not be used at…
Xbox Live is really not that expensive folks, you can get it for $45 or $40 if you watch for sales in gamer stores, and cdkey.com I never understood why people find it troublesome to buy, you get free games monthly and you get discounted games all throughout the year on top of normal sales.
Personally I chose PC because the lifetime membership still issues the Zen currency in the store every month of 500 Zen. It definitely helps when I want a new console that's come from a box or I want a new Doff or Boff!
