I think a better way to say it would trying to explain color to someone who has been blind since birth. The very concept of linear time is utterly alien to the Prophets
All which tracks with what I said they're a close ally and most likely an UFP protectorate but Cardassia isn't a full member (yet) Honestly I suspect if they were to make Cardassians a faction they'd make the paid version into something like the Jem'hadard vanguard characters. There hasn't been a single case where a…
All of those are good arguments but we got remember that UFP is very heavily against having an obvious military force which is why Starfleet is officially an exploration organization first and foremost even though they got the military power to defend the Federation. By same token arming stations so close to the heart of…
It makes perfect sense why Starbase 1 or ESD have no weapons on them, they're at heart of the Federation and no warp drive equipped enemy will be able to get to those without having to battle fleets or bases built for defense while SB1 or ESD are more for monitoring and controlling traffic and to act as logistics bases.
While I'm pretty sure Cardassia isn't UFP member but more of a close ally and protectorate, essentially the same status what Bajor had during DS9 (the series that is), still there really isn't enough there to build a full faction, especially with all the issues rattler mentioned.
While there's nothing official at this point, as general rule things get added to consoles about month after they go live on PC, granted that's not an absolute rule but rather more of a pattern.
The thing is the devs first need to know what's broken and that's not always as obvious as it might seem. The less info the devs get harder it is to track down what is needed to fix and thus longer it'll take to fix it.
In regards to the chemical being not allowed in weapons the treaties banning it could been renegotiated since that LD episode (Lower Decks is set in 2380s and the current year in STO is 2411 or 2412) to allow limited deployment. Bare in mind the IIRC that chemical isn't banned IRL (it's a real chemical after all) just not…
No worries I can't speak for Baddmoon but for me English is a second language as well so misunderstandings happen from time to time. Personally I have issues with gendered third person pronouns (well remembering I have to use those in English to be exact) since those don't exist in my native language
I have to agree that it would nice if they found uses for tech used on the portals in missions/patrols/TFOs it seems like it's something that's waste to be limited just this one ship.
And as duncan pointed out its there so you can at least in theory start playing the event the moment the servers come back online and any loading period for the events to become active is done during the maintenance. Also it's possible (though I think it's never been done in practice) that they'll end the maintenance…
Yeah Chlorine Trifluoride is so prone to ignition when not intended that not even the TRIBBLE considered its use as propulsion method (they used it as a chemical weapon instead or intended at least they never got to actually deploying it) and they nasty fuel on the me 163b that you joke that "Komet" wasn't a codename but…
Even if you had evidence of them being bots naming and shaming is against the rules, I'd recommend contacting Cryptic about those, with as much evidence as can get.
There's also the thing that you don't really hit a brick wall even if you only got free ships, as those are more then good enough for most and only real reason to get a "paid" (including ones from loot boxes) ship is you want that specific skin or layout. EDIT:Games that really go for the Pay2Win generally have obvious…
I'd say time travel is messy even in Doctor Who and that's an IP built around time travel. Both Picard and Lower Decks refer too much to previous events for there being a timeline swap that way and both them are set after First Contact.
I think people misunderstand the "demand" part of "supply and demand", not getting that it includes the price so if there's demand for an item but not at price it's sold then it simply won't sell and price will drop until it starts sell again at sufficient numbers.
Yeah that's kind of my point often when I see people saying they want an evil faction what they mean is that they want a faction with all coolness factor of an evil faction but without the actions that could cause moral issues with them, that or they want an excuse to be trolls but STO doesn't allow that kind of trolling…
Indeed Klingons, Orions, Nausicaans, Jem'Hadar, Romulans and Cardasians are "safe" evil so their "evil" acts are mostly guilt free, Terrans (or the Tzenkethi) do acts that are clearly and obviously Evil like killing civilians without prompting.
And it doesn't work that code for boffs using devices is a mess by itself so even if they could sort the problems you mentioned the boffs would probably not use said kit modules effectively. Honestly I think we need a full ground up rebuild for ground combat (excuse the pun) so that boffs would be more effective.
I only use by accident as I avoid going AFK in places where it would be needed, the nice thing about cell phones is that I can talk and play the same time and the chances of there being anyone at the door are rather slim, due to there being an additional floor one must enter thru to get to my apartment door.
You could certainly see it as "one humanities first test at travelling in the Warp" though nothing explicit is mentioned in the movie itself and this is the first time I've heard anyone saying the resemblance was intentional and not just drawing on similar themes.
As long I've been playing WH40k the warp has been the realm of Chaos and never really been anything else, though it was more calm before the birth of Slaanesh but the realms of Khorne, Nurgle and Tzeench did exist prior to that, well given the nature of warp as it in current lore the Realms of the Chaos gods (all 4 of…
