I would agree with you if it was only Tau. It's also some of the core story line missions that obscructs normal gameplay too.

Allow me to repeat myself for the second time. This is part of he story line for the Cardassian storyline. You can't skip ahead in a story. You can go back and repeat pieces of it but you can't skip ahead.

This mission is part of the Cardassian storyline over in/at DS9 actually. So what it's boiling down to is any new players that joined this week can't play past, say, level 35 at all until the fatal bug of replayable content is removed?

I think that is because we all realize that we got the full experience of the season 6 which is all about new content.. in 1 day. There is pretty much nothing left but mindless grinding. To bad botting is illegal or we could have just as much fun running a bot over night as we would playing the stuff manually for the next…
