Yes, I asked that question as well in the thread about the ship itself and haven't gotten an answer back. Many of us would like to know the answer to this.
So, is this ship going to be account unlock like all the other reputation ships? The posts about the Winter Rewards and the Ship stat page don't state either way. Confirmation would be welcome.
I'm in the 'It's intended' camp. Although, in all honesty, transporter effects should be based on the *ship* being used. The transporter is part of the ship, after all. If I'm using a TOS style ship, I should get TOS transporter animations. Modern ship should be modern animations. Roms using Fed or KDF ships should get…

"“Tangled Webs” takes 23rd century Starfleet officers to the unexplored Tholian Sector to discover these answers. This is the fourth episode available to temporal agents after the tutorial’s conclusion." This, right there, pretty much states there are at least 4 missions after the tutorial. Once more, they're putting…
Read the News. I should be the last person who needs to point out that Tribble is for *testing* and until the launch date is close, nothing is in its finalized state, including all the hook ins for the missions in the TOS storyline.
So, you haven't noticed at least 6 more TOS exclusive missions currently on Tribble? They're doing the same thing as happened with LoR - bringing out more missions for testing incrementally.
Extremely unlikely to happen. The one nacelle (and three nacelle TOS dreadnought) designs are owned by Franz Joseph's estate. CBS/Cryptic/PWE would have to negotiate with them to get the ships in the game, which I don't see occurring.
Yes, I noticed that. But I also remember something similar when LoR first hit. Romulan options seemed pretty limited at first, but they kept adding more options. So, I'm just going to put this up to 'initial expansion update' syndrome for the moment.
You never have access to any C-store stuff on Tribble that wasn't copied over currently equipped. New characters don't have access to any C-store stuff at all. It's a completely different server.
To be honest, Threatening Stance is more like an Electronic Warfare thing. The 'threatening' ship is putting out so much sensor static and lighting itself up, that it becomes the biggest target on the enemy's sensors. This works as well because the enemies can't target other friendly ships as easily (again, because of all…
You're quite right. I was playing around with this ability on my Fleet Malem torpedo build. I like the fact that (I'm pretty sure) it can be used from cloak (I kept getting knocked out of cloak when I was testing - most likely from enemy abilities, but possibly from this). I certainly do *not* want enemies pinging my…
Ultimate Enhancements are bugged. The first enhancement should hit at 25 skill points set, its not letting you select the first enhancement until 26 point spent, even though the progress tracker hits the first button on 25 points.
The 'mere' +15 currently mimics exactly what's on Holodeck right now if players buy ranks 7, 8, and 9 in a skill. For the SP, those ranks offer the least amount of return, but they're there if someone *really* wants to max out a specific thing (and I'm sure some builds use skills at 9), but they're more or less a 'trap'…
Then Lifers/Subscribers can get free at-will respecs while non-subscribers still have to pay (like TOR does). It incentivises subscribing to the game (giving PWE money from that), while still enabling the revenue from respec tokens.
Those people (and you it seems) aren't the kind of people who should be using the Test server then. Previewing stuff and not reporting the bugs in the proper forum (instead of just ranting ranting ranting on Reddit) does absolutely no good to anyone.
It's a TEST server. It's there to test out issues exactly like this. If you can't deal with it being a TEST server and *gasp* having bugs, you probably shouldn't be logging into it (and therefore, saving your download limit). And, since you obviously didn't bother to read the patch notes and just going into full on whine,…
Because not all missions take place in space. There's Friction inside the Solanae Dyson Sphere (for instance), and there are even abilities to buy from fleet spires that make your ship more controllable inside an atmosphere. Plus, Undine Space, you know, is filled with water, and there's Friction between that water and…
He jumped on the shuttle right as the door was closing and just would. not. leave. Or shut up. And managed to evade all the security details trying to shove him out an airlock.
No. Someone who pays can get something right away where people who don't have to invest time to earn the same thing. STO's model is 'pay to be lazy', not 'pay to win'.
You can't train them on New Romulus, but at least training is available on Qo'noS. Yes, its a bug, and yes, it needs to be fixed, but at least training is available *somewhere*.
There's already a lot of Origin assets in the game.. Not only the Tutorial, but also the USS Kirk uses the Origin interior. Please just update the interior for Starlfleet vessels to use the more realistic hallways. I don't see how hard it could be since there are already a lot of Origin assets ready.
