Thanks for the shout out! A lot of other good picks in your list too. That said, this is a complex issue, tough for us to know as armchair game devs what the best course to follow is. I'm not sure monetizing authors directly is the best route because there just plain aren't that many of them to sustain things.
As the author of this mission, I'm not really sure why it shows up as new. Seems like the order might have been reversed in the list the last time there was a mission republish or something?
Hey @captaingalrand thanks for playing! I'm surprised to see this thread revived. The point I tried to make with the plot is that there's no happy endings. Simply by the fact that you played the mission and decided to keep going meant that things get more and more screwed up, as weird as that is. I haven't really directly…
Hey guys, I put together a quick mockup of a new shirt design. Disclaimer: I am not a graphic designer. Any thoughts? http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/i428/RogueEnterprise/Front_zpsi5m9qerr.png http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/i428/RogueEnterprise/Back_zpsqawiaqjp.png
Personally I would say any newcomers can get their own SBUGC shirts from the original design. What about something new for this year, and bring your old shirts too? If the goal is to promote the Foundry, I would say make it more applicable (leave off SBUGC, as that branding could be confusing) and focus on something that…
Definitely less obvious... but the purpose here is to increase branding and awareness for the feature, not necessarily stick out (though admittedly, both would be best!). If new shirts are the answer I'm up for talking about how we can make them the most effective.
Hey Duncan, I finished Entropy today and left you a review. I'm not really using this thread to give detailed feedback, but since you asked, I can give a bit. =) I liked your maps, characters and story, and there is a lot of optional stuff to do that gives a lot of flavor to the mission. I did think your staccato dialogue…
Hey Solastrius, apologies for the delay in getting to your mission, but I just played it tonight and had a great time. Thanks for taking the time to play mine!
I love this idea, love playthrough videos and I'm sure reviews would be helpful. Are there any types of missions you'd like to see here? I have tons if you search my author handle RogueEnterprise, but having some guidance on what you'd want to play might be helpful.
This project kinda fell off the map due to some of the complexity required to do it along with some difficulty getting interest going for it. Can always make a comeback though...
