OMG! Biggest face palm moment! I plugged the speakers in to the wrong hole. LOL I plugged it in to the grey jack, not the green one. :P

1. Yes the ports stick out of the machine 2. Yes it is installed correctly. (I build systems soo yeaaaah.. ;) ) 3. If your asking if the speakers are plugged in to the correct port, yes they are. I only have this issue with STO.

I've tried to message the people listed from the above posts but the only one on was @stingray74 so it looks like I'm moving out to the Academy fleet of Task Force Spectre. Will move out if I find it to large, you know coming from a small near dead fleet. ;)

Could I pop in and out to check up on the fleets while I am deciding? Task Force Spectre looks like it maybe a pain to get FC's since it looks really large. I deleted the entire playtest folder and it worked. :)

I deleted the playtest\cache folder and the playtest\.patch folder and it worked for a bit until it froze at 0.5%

When I click on 'tribble' it causes the game launcher to freeze right up (Not Responding). Only way to kill it is Ctrl + Alt + Delete.

Why does the graphics 'flicker' in some areas? Sometimes in a map the background image 'flickers'.

Since Windows 8 is the new current operating system for the Windows family, will STO be compatible with Windows 8? Also will there be an *nix release of STO to target the Linux O/S? It would be nice to play it on ubuntu. :)
