  • Say there is a sell order at a price of 200, and another sell order at a price of 110. For a buyer the one at a price of 110 is the best price. It doesn't matter what price they enter above 110. As long as they offer to buy at that price or higher they will buy the lowest priced sell order at the listed price. So in this…
  • The currency exchange is anonymous and only executes trades at the best price. So if you are buying, you buy at the cheapest price available. If you are selling, you sell at the highest price available. This is to prevent exploits such as gold farmers using the system to transfer Dilithium to their customers.
  • Yes, it is live now. We were able to make an update without restarting the shard.
  • There is a bug in the UI where it calculates the percentage complete. In your case you had already donated 65 water purification systems, and the new requirement is 30, so the extra 35 has pushed your percentage displayed over 100%. However you have only donated 6 medical supplies and 50 are required. If you donate the…
  • We made a change that should have fixed the problem with reputation projects not completing in the new (shorter) time. If anyone is still seeing "Finishing" with no timer please let us know.
  • Please post the name of the character that is having the problem. Also if one of you could post a screenshot that would be helpful.
  • Sorry, but this doesn't make any sense to me. If you offer to sell 1 zen at price X, you will never get less than X dilithium. The only way you will lose one Dilithium is if you offer to sell your zen for one dilithium less than you bought it for. Of course you might have to wait until someone enters a buy offer at the…
  • The Dilithium Exchange works roughly how commodity and currency exchanges work in the real world. The Exchange where players trade EC for items is not a commodity exchange, it is more like classified ads where players offer an item for a specific price and other players can buy only at that price. The system will not let…
  • A foundry mission will count towards the daily wrapper mission if its average play time is 20 minutes or longer, not the 30, 45, or 60 minutes that have been suggested by various posts in this thread. So completing three such missions should take a bit over an hour.
  • A sell offer will always be matched with the "best" buy offer, which is the buy offer at the highest price. If there are buy offers at 158, a better price than 154, then the 158 buy offers will be the ones that are matched.
  • This confusion about how the Dilithium Exchange does come up in the forums from time to time. I can assure you that there is nothing funny going on here and we are certainly not manipulating prices. The best offer to sell is the lowest prices, namely 159 dilithium per zen. The best offer to buy is the highest price, namely…
  • Those people who didn't get their 300 day and 700 day character slots when they purchased the Lifetime subscription should have them now, following this morning's patch.
  • Season 7 is not being patched down to players yet. The first time you see it will be as a pre-patch. You can tell that a pre-patch is happening when you quit the game and the launcher pops up again and starts patching. At any rate, the pre-patch won't happen until we are closer to launch, and after Season 7 has been on…
  • The Vault Log, located on the News tab of the fleet window, has the option to switch between Stardate and Earth date, which is our actual time. The in game stardate is computed by adding exactly 400 years to the current real date and time, and then applying the TNG/DS9/VOY date conversion described here:…
  • Silver players who had previously been gold, or who have purchased foundry project slots with Dilithium, are able to access the foundry. There was a bug that was preventing players from accessing the foundry, but that was fixed quite a while ago.
  • Republishing is now complete. Note that there are a few dozen projects (about 1% of all published projects) that failed the republish. These failures were expected and are due to projects having bad data due to previous bugs that were not catching data errors in validation. In most cases we were able to automatically fix…
  • Note that the republish we started last night is only done with about 60% of previously published projects. If your project is missing do not panic, it is most likely just not been republished yet. We estimate that the republish should be done with all projects in about 10 to 12 hours.
  • We did do a mass republish test on all of the holodeck projects, but due to the way that project data is split between the shard's database and the patch system, that process did its internal validation using slightly different code than the actual republish on holodeck. If is a major priority going forward to make the…
  • We found several bugs in the code that specifically handles automated re-publishing of already published projects after a software update. We did import many projects from holodeck into various test environments before launching season 6, but those all used the normal publishing code path, which is the same as when a…
  • We have found several more bugs after yesterday's build went live. It is going to take us a bit longer to get them fixed, tested and into a release build.

  • No, just a couple of code bugs that are causing good projects to fail republishing when they should be succeeding.

  • We found a few minor issues when we did the mass republishing after the season 6 patch. We have fixes in testing now and hope to have them live on holodeck by the end of the week. At that point we will open the foundry for play first and then editing assuming no more issues pop up.

  • The maintenance going on tonight should fix the issue where some guilds were not able to start their starbase projects.
  • Our patch system automatically grabs a file locally if you already have it for another shard. So if you are up to date on Tribble, you will not have to download all that stuff again.
  • Tribble is back up again.
  • The number 750 listed in the FAQ was preliminary, not the final number. Sorry that we let an incorrect number get into the FAQ. When the Zen conversion goes live, the new minimum price will be 25 Dilithium for 1 Zen, and the maximum price will be 500 Dilithium for 1 Zen. The FAQ has been updated to reflect the correct…
  • I am planning to add fleet permissions for donation and buying from provisioned stores. Unfortunately it is not practical to add more fine grained controls.
  • There is a bug in the UI. The number being displayed for Fleet XP is actually the sum on Military, Engineering and Science Fleet XP. I will make sure it gets fixed.
  • Trappa83, Your starbase has 1000 starbase science XP and 1000 starbase engineering XP. You need to get one of those to 10,000, at which point you can upgrade the associated facility (shipyard or industrial replicator). Once you upgrade the facility to Tier 1, you will get 1000 starbase XP. At that point you can upgrade…
  • Post the name of the fleet and the full name@handle of one of the characters in the fleet, and I will take a look.
