Got it. Position 1 beam fires first starting it's weapon cycle and is checked , position 2 fires next starting it's cycle and is checked and so on. So all 5 arrays are being checked individually because they cycles are independent of each other.
I was getting conflicting information on how procs are checked. I needed to know for certain that 5 arrays in autofire are all being checked each time they cycle. In my mind 5 arrays in autofire = 1 weapon cycle ( for the sake of this thread ) Good idea or bad idea is another question. I set up a science ship with 400 EPG…
A bio phaser has 2 separate procs , if i add embassy console it has 3 separate procs , if i add Iconian rep trait + 2.5% chance for radiation proc the phaser now has 4 procs , are all 4 procs being checked every cycle on every beam ? Now if i have 4 bio phaser , each phaser is being checked individually once per cycle for…
This ^^^ - They added missions in many arcs prior to New Romulus , i had to go back through all the arcs i had completed and skip missions. Very frustrating considering i already had Dyson opened. TY for your reply.
I completed every mission in New Romulus arc and Dyson still did not open. It isn't just Dyson either Delta Arc is closed too but Iconian is open to me.
You do not earn enough resources early on to outfit both Ship and Away team , in advance missions/queues you will get flamed by team members if you're under performing in any queue ( in some cases ). It isn't so much a matter of hating space or ground or even the mission itself usually , i like space better myself , others…
Empty random queues are not going to fill empty unpopular queues , the reason people are not in those queues is because they don't want to be. I will never join a random queue.
"This is how it was done on consoles all along" Tuff , consoles got the shaft so now PC gets it too? Random Queues? You cannot change specializations or traits once you enter the combat zone , what good is commando in gateway to greythor , or pilot in bug hunt? I use different set ups depending on the enemy i plan to face…
I considered failing gpu but 1 - i run Skyrim with settings maxed and do not have frame rate issues , 45 fps in combat most of the time , rare it drops to 30 fps , 2 the fps drop only happens with STO , the issues always coincide with server/game updates
I'm using ARC for STO , i have Steam for many games but it is not running when i log into STO , i shut it down with task manager before i log on to STO .
Last nvidia cards i had burned up in less than a year , say what you want about AMD but this set is 8 years old , nvidia has never built anything that lasts.
Every week after server updates i have what looks like driver issues , stuttering , rebounding , severe FPS drop when i enter combat , by severe i mean my FPS goes from 30-45 fps to 2 fps. The crimson edition drivers look great when i first log in then i crash to desktop as soon as i enter combat.
Please pick a set of drivers and make them work , if you continue to patch away from my cards i will have to quit the game. These are my only choices. https://www2.ati.com/drivers/whql-win8.1-win7-catalyst-15.7.1-oct30.exe…
Every week after maintenance my fps drops when i enter combat , any mission , patrol , ground or space , it use to go away after a day or two but not after the last patch , my fps drops to 2. Graphics updates to a 10 year old game that does not even support dual gpu is beyond stupid , it only drive people with older comps…
I spoke too soon , 1 space patrol ran fine , i switched toons and started a mission in iconian arc and the FPS drop returned , below 10 , yesterday my FPS in combat was 35 to 45
I am running WIN 7 64 , i have a history of severe lag after server updates/maintenance every week , my FPS falls to below 10 when i enter combat the first day of the weekly update then returns to normal the next day or so. Last night Windows decided to update .net framework even though i have updates shut off , set to…
